  1. Are you sure there isn't a problem with the wiring going from the ABS modulator block to the rear of the car? What are the resistance reading now the sensors are installed taken from the modulator block?
  2. No problem Shaddow. I have just had a weird problem with my ABS light. I fitted a new trailing arm bush (which involved lots of hammering) and when I had finished, I turned key, bloody ABS light on again arghhhh, I got the codes using the paperclip method. Codes were 12, 16 and 18. Went all through the fault finding from the manual above. No faults found.. still ABS light on..... So thought F**k it and took her for a test drive. Light went out as soon as i got to 10 MPH. Light has stayed out too, not sure what was wrong but it goes to show how annoying things can be sometimes.
  3. Look at this manual too, it has fault finding for the ABS system http://www.civic5.com/official%20honda% ... ervice.pdf Good luck
  4. Have you checked the resistance of the ABS sensors? If you have and they are ok, then check the resistance of the pins of the modulator assembly connector, which correspond to the particular wheels that you have the problem on. If all is well so far, I would begin to suspect that the modulator itself maybe faulty. Hope this help.
  5. Hi, The bolts that hold the sensor to the hub are 10mm heads and 6mm thread I think, not sure about the thread pitch. My bolts were in pretty poor shape too, what I did was get some spare ones from the breakers yard when I was removing the ABS sensor. I had a code 17 error and the only way I could get it to go was to replace the sensor with one from scrapyard. If you go to the scrapyard to get one, take a multimeter as you can then test the resistance at the orange plug end. Should be about 800 to 1000 ohms. If a lot higher it is broken.
  6. Just got 2 ABS Sensors for £10 from a local scrappy. First one that I got from there only lasted about a month, not bad for £3 though.
