There was a mental, saloon for sale a few months ago in pirates black , i just didnt have the money at the time!
No mate mines 125bhp sohc vtec
-
White def makes it look lower Hubert. Wheels are gonna be win win win, if your deck beats the mb6 this month I predict nothing will beat it will the new rims fitted!

Is your engine a D16W3? Mines says in the engine bay that it is and according to what I've read online it's a non-vtec, although it's extremely revvy! It's not much different from my mates EK3 D15b VTEC to be honest!
D16w4 in mine mate, thats weird I thought all mb4's all had same engine, someone more knowledgeable on here will fill us in!
Bronze wheels always a winner but always fancied gold on silver as well, still look good I reckon

6 different model M's aswell, which is cool

Saw the exhaust on facebook mate, sounds awesome, no cat? Rocker cover looks great too
-
Thanks all! Although it's only a single slammer non-vtec I do want to track it so I'm considering stripping it out, installing DC2 or EK9 fronts and getting takata 4 point harnesses! thoughts?
Non vtec? Mines a mb4 1.6se SOHC and definitely got a vtec!

I used JOM Coilovers on my MK4 and lowered it quite a bit, really good for £150 coilovers and actually more comfortable on a properly low golf, than my mates BC racing coilovers on his EK4 on a street setup. Word of warning though I don't know what yours is like but front springs/shocks on a golf is an absolute pain to change. I actually drove around with the rear on coilovers and front still 4x4 height for a week cause I had to give up on the fronts for a bit because they were taking too long and the car was a daily driver! Good choice on H&R's though, really good quality setup.
To be honest shafzzz ive had cheap coilovers before and I currently have £600 gaz coilies on the mb, I would never have coilies without dampening adjustment. Not bothered about slamming this anyway, as cant be bothered with chassis notch mod etc!
I had eibach -40mm springs on my old mk4 tdi, and they were fine, not low but looked alot better than stock
Paying a mechanic to do them mate and he said they were a mission to do on the front!
My Audi wheels sit really far in as well and if I hang on to it I've every intention of getting 16mm spacers for the rears. My own thoughts on why they sit in so far is that any further out and the rear of the car will be more susceptible to stone chips from debris thrown up from the tyres. I could be very wrong though.
That plastidip clear looks like a fantastic job for a silver car
Cant wait just ordered this lot up to try a test piece

Do you? What you plastidipped? Yeah just a really good clean and degrease Craig. Must admit im getting better with it, my first couple of attempts were a bit 'textured'
-
Depends if its a left hand drive I guess!
-
Yeah but not met reserve yet mate, not by a long way
-
I know mate looks great! Do it I say
-
I know! They look bloody awful.
2 weeks and it will be lowered with spacers on...cant wait, hate driving it about like this
-
Fair enough mate, your right needs to be lowered for those bad boys!
Great car the mb4 goes surprisingly well for 125bhp, love mine
-
Exactly same as mine was, except i didnt have the fog lights! Cheers lads for trying to sell him the wheels! Cant believe someone hasnt snapped my arm off for them, probably end up just keeping them in case i get another 4x100 car at some point!
So much better than a focus mate, good swap!
Edit... My MB4 se came with no rear spoiler but does have colour coded mirrors
-
This pic popped up on there, no build thread or details
But loving satin black paint, neo coloured tow thingy (nice!) , mugen spoiler and teg alloys I believe!

Absolutely mate. Ideal for that

Cheers, yes jake it is, quite weird really, i mean i gave the grill i proper good scrub today and its all fine, you just have to pick it and lift it off though.
Dont really like silver cars, quite boring (yes I know my last two been silver!) , decided going to have a go at spraying mine with plastidip clear to give a matte silver, just going to buy one can to start and maybe do the roof or something. Should look pretty trick though

Couple of 'skint status' mods... My private plates and £3.50 stubby aerial from China (works a treat)
Need to sort out the holes but love my short plate

Bringing the rear wheels out sounds cool! Get some of these after
35mm drop is something I would like to go for. Nothing too noticeable for the insurance to notice
Here you go Kyfer... Why i need spacers, look at the overhang!
