common problem i hear 1 and 2 on the heater dial does not work i have seen a fix for this but has anyone fitted one where does it go thanks and sorry for the noob questions still learning about the car

hi all now im sure this has been a hot topic before but im struggling to find any info my central locking does not work it has the valeo 2 button fob but i think thats gone kaput my question is can i sync another up does it have to be new or can a 2nd hand 1 do the job or will i need the sensor next to the light and the remote cheers guys
