Top job on getting the arches done mate and getting them sealed up nicely. Nice to see a Civic M being pampered and looked after.

Hi guys havent posted anything up in a while so though i had better update with pics as the civic now looks a bit different to when i first purchased her
-
... i already have a set of lowering springs that are for an mb an was wondering does anyone know if they would fit on the mg shocks??
-
Waxoil is very good just make sure you spend time removing any surface rust and give the underside a good clean before applying but also i would use a stonechip/rubber based paint for the impact areas such as arches as this will give better protection than just waxoiling the whole underside of the car

Taking the glove box out will help you to have a look in from another angle an its only held in by a couple screws 2sec job to remove it, had to do this when i had my headunit out- hope this helps
-
.......i think the teg is currently feeling neglected lol
-
Havent posted in a lil while but i have been doing a few lil bits n bobs to the mb... painted the headlight surrounds and rear numberplate surround an fitted clear side repeaters, also have just had sum lowering springs delivered so will post up some pics when fitted

sounds epic mate, but its more sound that power boosting :/
yea i think open filters will always sound crazy but inclosed cai's are the best for power gains
-
yea the itr box is v good mate i kept my teg standard for ages before i decided i fancyed a change....my tegiwa filter is loud too which i was surprised at as its enclosed! sounds crazy on tec
....the mushroom filter however im not so keen on lol
-
Iv gotta a tegiwa mugen rep on the teg atm bt tbh was a right pain to fit!.. have the standard itr in a box sumwhere in my garage but tbh until the weather changes for the better i dont wana cold air feed! lol
...was wondering what the tegiwa whale c@ck intakes sound like? i think these would have a much better filter than the foam mushroom ones??
-
well.... just off the top of my head and in no particular order
gotta few bits to fix/replace such as
drivers window reg (broken)
front wiper motors (noisey)
parcel shelf (broken)
was also thinking about....
lowering springs and poss better shocks
stainless exhaust
changing headlights (de-tango & painting surrounds)
painting chrome surround on grill black
painting calipers black
poss chainging air filter (its got a mushroom filter on atm)
-
thats sweet thanks bud

noob question guys but im guessing the aerodecks use the same part as the mbs? coz i need a window reg for mine too and im guna try an source one from a breakers
-
I hope you do coz im dying to get my hands on some goodies!
....starting to get a fairly long wish list of parts in my head now so need to start searching... also pay day tomoro! haha
-
cool thats ideal mate- was just worried about going through the process of taking them apart and sealing back up to find i have used wrong paint and then having to do it all again lol
I think it looks really smart so will def be giving this a go soon
-
Hi iv just been reading the diy on how to de-tango headlights and was wondering if people were just using normal paint on the surrounds?.... I know headlights can get pretty warm and didnt know if over time it might flake due to the heat?
-
lmao... yep-guna use the missis's profile to check the civic5 profile though haha

I did try the standard itr filter on the mb for a while and was def better than the mushroom filter that was on it before- and tbh i expect if you did a dyno run with it and compared it to the tegiwa whale it would prob produce a couple more bhp but i think the whale is just more fun (childish i know lol)
