  2. she'll be back on the road soon pulling like a train
  3. Bit of an update. Being narrowing it down for the last couple of days since I e been back from holiday. New plugs+leads+dizzy cap and Rota arm, still the same so took off dizzy striped down found oil inside (not good haha) so striped and fully cleaned. Put back together. Tried to start but nothing at all. Stripped again re-done, so gona put back on tomoz and try again haha
  4. Sweet thanks marv. I thought that, think i might have swap the hubs over now haha. Got to got a few bits I think overtime is calling
  5. Don't worry I've been being a mug the last couple of days. I have loads of pics of the engine bay so can do it from them. I think it's because 1 it's been a long time since I've done civics, plus I've been rushed the last couple of days and to me big is defo better haha
  6. Hay everyone, this question mainly directed at Andy I've been thinking as you do. (Wife keeps telling me to shut up haha) I put the leads back on the same as Matt's obd2 mb. Thinking mines co.pletely different being a td-41u dizzy. So the question wats the ht lead positioning for that dizzy? Cheers guys
  7. Couldn't believe that the plug socket and adaptor cost £20 what!!!!!!!!! Cost more than all the plugs madness.
  8. Defo krzys. no worries Andy to be fair I have only bought it for 650 so I can't complain if a standard service part has gone. Started this morning, the plugs haven't sorted the problem so I'm sure it's the dizzy. Like I said worst case I have a complete good working dizzy so I'm happy. On holiday tho at centre parcs, love the place, so can't do the car till next weekend. So no posts till then
  9. New plug nearly done it. Still tho firing in 3 I think. Spoke to a friend who has had lots of aero he thinks it's the dizzy, which he says are common to go so when I'm back off holiday that's the first thing I'm looking at. It's defo nearly there so can't be a big fix, I thin I listerned to everyone round me to much saying it was the turbo. Should of gone with my gut and looked at the miss fire.
  10. New update. I believe I'm right with only having 3 cyclinders running pulled out the plugs today they were filth haha, getting new in the morning. Number 4 plug had no spark so think the plugs might be the answer. Hopefully it is.
  11. Yer Andy that's the plan to solder in the vtec to the board done a ton of soldering over the past few years so should be pretty easy and Grant I think that would be a good idea. I am thinking of tho getting a second engine and building it up for a better boost with this vtec head and a few trick bits I have stored away. Only really cause 1 it's easier to build a turbo setup that way and 2 for the time being this aero is the everydayer so need it on the road. Me and the wife are lucky tho cause we work up the road.
  12. Just a quick update on the procress. Car is running but sounds to be running on 3 cylinders. Sorted the injector and have as far as I know feul going in the cylinder. Haven't taken out the plug yet but that's the next thing. The head gasket need to be looked at, at some point but isn't the reason the car died I think. Think ether the lead or plug is the colprate!!! I'm gona poss have a look later time permitting if not sunday. So will tell all the outcome of the plugs. Cheers for all the support as well it's nice. And thank Matt.
  13. Yer it's just getting some time, I'm getting the replacement pipe tomoz putting it on tomoz and bolting everything up new oil and water see if the gasket is the real problem
  14. Not too sure Grant. I think wat has happened is the oil pipe has leaked oil and dropped low making the engine hot, I think has popped the head gasket. Saw some water in the rocker cap but not loads. So ether is gone or going that's why it's running bad or spent he water pump in. I have tho a d16z6 head that I'm putting back together with full gasket kit plus all the whirring and bits to do that and a new water pump ready so....... The idea is put the head on (which will lower the compression a bit with my super thick gasket.) Solder in vtec and at the same time put on my water pump and bigger/better radiator hopefully job done but might have to wait a few weeks to get the bits finished and on the car
