  1. Might not be all bad news boys, me and Matt tonight took off the turbo and is running free as u like. The reason for the break down is the return pipe back to the sump is dead and leaking out oil but looks as if the turbo wasn't starved of oil. So I'm gona get another bit of pipe stainless braided this time and see if that does the trick I'm really hoping it does. I'll load up pics tomoz but I think that the turbo is ok but need to have a really good look tomoz as when me and Matt took it off it was pretty damn dark.

  3. Cheers mate, looked it up. Don't think I can get one this month going on holiday but will get that one I think as it was running really nice till boom haha. Gona take it apart tomoz/Wednesday. Thinking if it is the turbo I'm gona take the kit off run N/A till I have the new turbo and probably get a few other bits, looking at a bigger intercooler and running the cooler pipes different hopeflly it is just the turbo, I 1st thought I was the head gasket cause Andy was saying it might be going but I'm 99% that it's the turbo. Looks like the stance mission have been put on hold
  4. Constant boost is back, have bypassed the EBC for now. So much difference on power, super quick but good. Only problem now is the turbo has blown up!!!!!! Happened bout 2 hrs ago. Massive let down will have to get a new one. But going on holiday Monday to centre parcs so need it quick ahhhhh
  5. I have a few. Funny really didn't really think myself a Honda nut before but proper obsessed with them. Looking at the vac lines now, going back the aero project just working out where it all goes then I should be able to keep a constant boost pressure yay finally haha
  6. Soz haha didn't looked like the other post worked. Ok, I had sleeves on my original eg and other than the falken it's the best handling at I've ever driven and I've driven a fair few good jap cars.
  7. Ok I'm thinking keeping the coilies on the eg as I'm looking at getting it going asap cheers everyone for the pointers think I'm gona use the coilies sleeves
  8. By the sounds of it I'm looking at sleeves till I can get some propped coilies. Mainly cause I'm getting the falken running asap so I'm gona keep the öhlins on the eg cheers for the advice people
  9. Cool here's the b18 in the falken nearly there with the build here a pic the rocker for the vtec head I'm rebuilding, just ignore the bright yellow paint

  11. Wastegates on (newer one) gona sort out the vac lines in the morning, really thought it would be a nightmare to do but pretty easy. Something quick do I need to be a VIP member to load up pics to the thread instead of linking it to photobucket? And Jay yer I think I'm gona plus there a really good offset they sit in my eg arches but close so I think there'll defo fit right if not, I'd preffer to spacer like 5mm on the OZ instead of doing loads of work to the archs to fit the grids.

  13. Basic everyone done this research ages ago, but completely forgot, can I use the b18 hubs on the d16 splines in sure that u can but I'm being lazy haha. Reason for it is that I'm looking into swapping 2 different hubs from my eg to the mc1. Wanting to swap the wheels mainly. Cheers guys. Try not to lazy from now on haha
  14. Cheers matt for the upload yer I love that eg, really is my dream car. Just need to get her back on the road. And what do people think of the OZ wheels, poss put them on the aero. Might be a change of plan now that the grids need work done on them. Don't know tho haha as per usual.
  15. Haha I wish I could say yes but been off my feet bizy since I've had the car as soon as it is an alright night I'm gona be swapping it over. And it's a civic eg hatch had a lot of work done on it and I've now put in a B18c4 ready to be tracked I think. It's biggest feature tho I'd that it has been sprayed the falken race team colours green and blue I've got a pic on my other thread the 'hi' thread. Love it so much same it's been off the road really but now have this aero to play with on the road
  16. I'll look into those 2 bar map sensors. To be fair tho I'm happy for winter running what u had programmed in. Considering I have 2 civic projects on the go, I'm gona wait till early next year to start playing with the boost and vtec heads and bits:-) prob buy up a few bits over winter and try to build a good map on crome see we're that takes me.
  17. In which way front high or rear high? And yer that's a good idea didn't think that. Not completely sure yet wat to do, I'll find that I'm the type to ask and suggest loads but take my time to do things but do them right first time I'm thinking of sizing them up over the next couple of days see wat position they sit on the car. Something to really mess things up haha at the min I have the mb6 vti hubs all round on my falken eg with oz racing 16 with a nice offset. Thinking might swap over the hubs/wheels to the aero and run the grids on the falken don't know like I said my brain always works overload with ideas. Wish I was still do at photo shop to try out the different looks but been forever since I used it.

  19. Yer I'm gona wire them in tomorrow so will be good. She'S still running fine. Was gona ask bout the 'crome pro'. Is it a login thing or is it bought per computer it's on? Was gona ask if it's login how much for the bits cause I have the basic crome at the min
