    Hi everyone got a slight issue and need advice. The ma8 front bumper ive been working on is too far gone to put back onto the car i tried to make it work but its not ment to be. What i need help with is do try and find another ma front bumper (which i think are rare as hell as cant find one anywhere) or do i get the bumper lights wings and bonnet off a mb?

    Will have more pictures to come soon

    Well today has been quite productive the car is all in primer apart from P/S/F door as tried repairing but too far gone so will need a repalcement (if anyone knows of anyone who has one is breaking a car could you let me know please) wings will be done at a later stage and the bonnet needs a bit more work. Front bumper is coming along nicely looks a bit differnt which is what i like. Extra browney point to anyone who can guess where i got the idea from for the grill?;)

    Cheers guys it will definitely stand out a bit. And Dave I don't mid prepping car but my gf likes it more and she does a good job so I let her get one with that big wile I'm doing something else. I can't wait to see it in paint let alone on the road haha. There will be another update later today (Wednesday) of what been going on the last 2 days. So sick around :)

    Evening evryone got the first update with pics.

    ive stated filling and shpaing the front and rear bumper removed the sunroof and sanded the roof down. Couple of repairs on passenger door. The rest of the car is sanded down ready for primer and paint. The bonnet has already got its first coat of paint on it. i have the whole of next week off so hopefully it all should be in primer or maybe even paint :D

    Hi everyone been a while since I've uploaded anything on this. Be on and off the last 6 months just had so much else going on. I have now a reason to put everything else aside to build this car as a close friend who was very interested in the car and who was one of the few people that supported me with it tragically passed away a few weeks back and now I'm going to build the car in his memory.

     

    There is a lot come with this project and will need a hand with a few things and it most definitely will be one of a kind and I look forward with sharing it with you all :) so watch this space!

    Side repeaters

    Hi everyone does anyone know if the side repeaters on the front wings of the civic have to be there as i want to blank mine off. I know after a little bit of research the indicator light cluster has to wrap around the side and be visable which i think it is but would like someone elses opinion

    Thanks for the support guys unfortunately I didn't get to the interview as they said they would call me back with the details of where and what time the interview was but never got a call tried calling them but got no answer. :angry: But on the brightside now  I have interview next tuesday at 10am and I know where the interview is this time lol. Fingers crossed.

     

    Now to the matter at hand. 

    Progress on the honda has been good lots have been done and lots to come.

    Whats been done so far:

    Angled Rear number plate bracket made

    S14 ducktail spoiler made to fit

    Wide arches started on the rear and cut to shape of the door so it can open (still lots to do)

    Custom from grill idea template made

    Hood pins fitted

    Test painted part of the front wing in the colour the car is going

    Hi everyone there will be another much needed update on the car. Got made redundant from my old job so had to sort that over the last month or so didnt get anytime to upload but on the good side whilst looking for another job I got the chance to put some good hours into the car and progress has been made. As you can see from the title the idea for the car has change as the that was gunna be cool weekend car is now going to be a daily driver and the orignal plans wouldnt suit that so went a different path that would. :) Stay tuned as lots to upload in the coming days and weeks :D

    Boot latch problems

    Hi guys ive got boot latch issue with my MA8 if anyone can help? When i go to close the boot it dosent stay closed its like the 2 parts of the latch are to far away from each other. The boot rubber seal is in the right place and pushed down as much as it can the rubber adjusters on either side of the boot and as small as they can be but yet it stil doesnt latch. The only time it will latch on is when I slam it very hard which i dont want to keep doing. Also the boot release by the drivers footwell doesnt release it either only the key releases it once it has been slammed shut.
