Cdvtist
Areet all just wonderin if anyone with a turbo build on here could shed any light on what size oil restricter i shud be using. Engine is the b18c4, its smoking on boost and just checked the size of the restricter wich is 2mm wich i am thinking is far to big from what ive read. The turbo is a 57 trim journal bearing chinese special. Cheers!
KiNK43
Defo too big. More like 1.0mm at a guess but obvs don't wanna starve it. Maybe someone with more experience can give you a definite answer.
Cdvtist
Cheers kink. Thought it was ive orderd a 1mm one lyk hopefully that stops it smoking. Athink it myt still smoke a little with the 1mm. From what ive been reading a need sumit lyk 0.065 because of the high oil pressure from these engines. But the 0.065 one is us guna ne lyk 40 qiud from the states. A could do with a place round here that sells them
KiNK43
That would make sense. There a place in Leicester where I am that sell all sorts of weird and wonderful tuning parts, there known for tuning cosworths n that so sure they'll have all the gear for t3's Graham Goode motor sport. Maybe try them?
