ryan..
I need to move my driver headlight to the right slightly as im getting a lot of shadow on the road and the bean seem to be facing to kerb a bit too much.I've tried a variety of screw drivers but is there a special tool to adjust them on a 1998 vti-s? johngreen537
Don't think there is a special tool. Can't you just undo the two 12mm bolts holding the light to the slam panel and adjust it with them?
ryan..
surely they just hold it in place, nothing to do with allignment of it?
johngreen537
You can use them to allign it slightly, hence the elongated bolt holes..... but looking in the service manual (page 1127) it says to use a normal positive / phillips head driver to adjust! ryan..
i tried loads of philips head screwdrivers, it cant get enough purchase to be able to turn it. Even the correct size ones just start to chew the plastic. A mate of mine did suggest using a socket
johngreen537
might be worth a go as they are hex on top. or you could try a really wide flat driver...
ryan..
ive tried flat ones. The gap is too big so the move too much and the hole in the slam pannel doesnt allow for really big drivers lol
