i got my self a H brace

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :MERFB:IID

a few of us seem to have got them over the xmas period the BIG problem i have is i have a 4 branch so here is my post on whats happening

as most people seem to have said it will not fit with a 4 branch and i want to improve the handling this is what i have done

i spoke to jap speed who supply most of the e-bay shops by the looks of it ( most sellers on the ebay seem to have the same address )

they also sell my 4 branch so i asked if there was a problem " they said not heard of any but would like feed back and any info to fix "

i have a mate with an ally tig welder and we will get it too fit i have not been under to see the problem yet but i will try to explain when i get too it

:roll::roll::roll::oops:

well from what i have heard it only tips on the exhaust and that it dose fit. Try rapping exhaust heat rap around the brace or exhaust top stop it noiseing

but if you want to do a more pernament job let us have feedback, i am very interested to hear about this....

i had one of these fitted, with the 4-2-1 manifold it just missed but when the car warmed up it would sometimes rattle sort of 3 to 4rpm ish....definetly wouldnt fit with the 4-1 manifold. hope this helps.

its not the length you want to worry about, its the drop, for a 4-1 just imagine another 2 pipes underneath the standard 4-2-1 or aftermarket 4-2-1. you can see some pictures with a H brace fitted on my project Ms under weetec MB6.

fitting the brace definetly improves handling, could cause bushes to wear too depending on condition. downside to H brace is the aluminium. when you tighten the bolts up the bolt heads really grip in to the alloy hence, squashing it out. a few hundred miles of stick wears the alloy even more. hope this helps.
