slosei Posted August 13, 2009 Author Share Posted August 13, 2009 right iv tried the p73 ecu on my mates ek4 and it works,from what i have found out so far is that few wires are in different places on the mb6 wiring loom compared to the standard obd1 plug,so dose anyony know which wires i need to swap over on my harness please? thanks in advance Zak Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
slosei Posted August 17, 2009 Author Share Posted August 17, 2009 got the car started with the p73.it feel much better on v tec bottom end does suffer as i dont have the flaps closed but worked out the wiring so keeping them to see if i can use them to my advantage. slosei Posted August 19, 2009 Author Share Posted August 19, 2009 thanks dwell i am running the p73 for a few days to see how well it works once the ecu has some been on for a bit, (self learning) and so far im very impressed! all iv done is move the vtec point to 4500rpm for the b18c4 cams, and had it to limiter in 2nd(75mph) and third(105mph) lol going very close to 9000rpm not a good idea on standard valve train, going to get a rolling road print out with both ecus hopefully this weekend,and try get the iabs to open when vtec comes onup to 3000rpm the car dont seem as torquey but thats down to the inlet manifold with the iabs open all time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
