VTEC on B18c4, and ECU question

Recommended Posts

I just spoke to a friend, he has a MC2

Fore some reason we ended up talking about VTEC

On my stock MB6 i have vtec at 6000rpm

I just realised that everyone else has it somewhere around 4400-4800

I went to the garage to see if it was a chipped P30 in my car but i just found the stock p9k, and it looks like it has been there since -97

Can it be the butterfly carp in my intake that changes the sound at 6000rpm?

Can i chipp the p9k ecu ? i guess not

//Sorry about my English :oops:

It has to be the quietest VTEC jump ever on this engine :lol:

This is what im used to, here is my CRX after 22s VTEC kicks in

My bro had a b16a in his del sol and i used to love that for the vtec sound :twisted: , so much loader the the mb6 . :D

but then i turbo mine with a 3 ft exhaust it sounds great.
