Sega Posted August 25, 2009 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Ive figured out that the impact bar (I think thats what its called) has bent back one side and because the bumper bolts to it its the reason for the misalignment.What I need to know is if I knock it back to where its supossed to be or close enough am I likely to trigger the airbags? civicturbo79 Posted August 25, 2009 Share Posted August 25, 2009 The air bag will not go off . with you just hitting the car ,the air bag system does not work that way the car has to come to a dead stop to set off the air bag . or decelerate fast . the worst that would happen would be you would set off the fuel cut off switch but you would have to go some to set that off . but its a 2 second job to reset .
