Had it at the garage the other day and the door panel was off for something else and checked out speakers at the same time.16cm/6" in size but they are really narrow doors.Anyone got any recommendations to upgrade the stock paper plates?Cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
parkesie Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 Most 16cm speakers should fit doors should fit. I fitted some Edge components in my mc2 been very happy with them. ryan.. Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 If you are upgrading the speakers make an MDF baffle rather than use the plastic ones. You will fit 6.5" speakers easilly and magnet size isnt much of a problem. Ive got these mids in my doors only using 18mm mdf baffle: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
