He wants my d16z6 engine but this is injection so was thinking of putting a d14 head with twin carbs onto the d16z6 block. Can this be done he is on a budget ?? johngreen537 Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 Pretty sure all the engines in the series are cross compatible mate.So, D series top / bottom ends, all interchange-able.Pretty much the same as all Honda's.B series top bottom ends all work with each other, B20 VTEC is probably most common historically, but newer ones like the K24 which uses K20A2 top end and K24 bottom end for torque.All top / bottom ends, and Gearbox's technically 'fit', just the electronics would be the tricky part!
