Stanley
I know it's been covered to death but I can't get any confirmation...I have a full set of shocks and springs off a 1999 Civic Coupe VTi EM1 sitting gathering dust and they are in very good order! Will they be any better than the 110k mile ones on my MB6?Thanks, Stan. johngreen537
They will 'fit'. Same suspention as an EK, so will need a spacer between the rear shock brackets and LCA's as the EK LCA's were slimmer.
Stanley
Any pics or diagrams to help me visualise what I need to do?Also I've heard that some Civic suspension on an MB6 makes the back lower? Is this true?

Just get a slack hand full of washers and put the shocks on and you will see instantly where the washers need to go.
Stanley
I see I see!I'll fire the car up on the ramps over the weekend and have a look/WD40 session.Any ideas as to whether they'd be any less wallowy than the standard items? steveolkinevel
I take it they are after market ones of the em1? If so then yes they will be better, but not perfect as the spring rates will obviously be different.
Stanley
No sorry I forgot to mention they are just standard ones.Look in quite good order and wondered if they be any better - similar idea to fitting MG ZS stuff? I.e. better spec?
