My cams were a tooth out ...

i think the belt had streched a bit ?

you would have noticed if the cams were a tooth out .

it would have been more noticeable when the car warmed up . it would have been like a plug was down also it would have

been bad on fuel .

also you would have had a MIL light on ?

and if the mil light was on you wouldnt have vtec .

Belt was exactly the same size as the new one i put on it .. And i checked it more than once.

Never misfired or felt down on power,

No lights at all. All go out properly on the ignition.

Took her for a proper thrapesing earlier and she seems exactly the same as she was before.

Still gonna check everything again though.

ye mate the overall lenth ov the belt would be same but the teeth on the belt would have worn ever so slightly ?

just a fraction on each tooth would be enough to make it almost a tooth out !

wot condition was the belt in ?

could you still see the writing on the back ?

or was it shiney with no writing ?
