col
Hi all.I did an ecu reset the other day, and am now having a few issues...From cold the car now idles straight away at 1000rpm, would of expected it to be higher until it warmed up?Secondly (only noticed when doin engine flush) whilst trying to hold the rpm at 2000rpm, i have a 500 rpm swing between 1500rpm and 2000rpm, (also does the same where ever you try to hold it)I know it's not an owner issue (me) as it can be replicated with a bar wedged on the pedal.Any suggestions?Col
civicturbo79
It could be the o2 sensor in the exhaust . have you done a fault code check do you have the engine management light on .Rich.

civicturbo79
If the engine light has not been on there may be no stored faults . but the is a blue 2 pin plug on the passangers side of the car above the kick panel in a clear plastic cover just bridge the plug with a piece of wire and the engine light will flash once you put the ignition on . long flashs = 10's and fast flashes = 0-9 . then just look up the codes on the net .Rich.
