Hey folks i know this has probably been asked a lot but my comp running a bit slow so search is taking aggeeess. At the minute i have standard shocks on my mb3 with some cheapy ebay coilover spring things (not put on by me) which tbh are just crap. Ride comfort is crap, handling is okay and its causing so much camber on the rear i cant keep up with tyre wear lol.

I was just wandering would the likes of koni strt shocks and springs, or fk shocks and springs be a good call or coilovers. Not wanting to spend crazy money tho as have a kiddie on the way lol. Obviously coilys would handle beta etc but would the koni's etc still be a decent choice?

Whats the ride comfort etc like, not bothered if its a bit rough as it cant be much worse than the set up mine has lol. Would these be better than the FK's and does yours handle quite good? I would love coilovers but dont think they will be in the cash range.

I find the koni a good all round ride handle good and ride is stiff but not to stiff the only thing is they drop the front more than back so it's if you like that look or not? At first I was mmmm but now after driving with them I really like the look had them on for a good 12 months +

Ya dont have a picture kicking around so i can see what mine would look like because the koni's seem the way I'm going to head. I'm happy with the back sitting slightly higher as long as it doesnt look like its on stilts. Sitting higher at the back should also cure the camber and stop destroying tyres after a few thousand miles :D

looks very nice indeed mate. Doesnt seem to sit stupidly high on the back, it is a lovely looking MB though mate. :D Think the Koni's are defo the option that I'm going to take.
