civicturbo79 Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 It will be 100% a air lock in the system they are a real pain to bleed up , you should alway mix your coolant with boiling water . That way the thermosat opens straight away and you get the air out faster you need to run the car with rad cap off till the air stops coming to the top but not to long that the water starts to boil with the rad cap off . weetec Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 heres what i do.. .. .. keep expansion bottle topped up lid closed.. put a little mark on the expansion bottle where the fluid is.. just so you can see it really. ...radiator lid on...get the car hotswitch engine off then squeeze allmost everypipe you can get hold of a couple of times.. carefull as they are hot. if you come across one of the rear pipes from the heater matrix as cold, most likely that is where circulation is stopped due to air. as it cools down the water from the expansion bottle should slowly be sucked up. and obviously be replaced with air.
