650rob
I'm at the beginning of installing the mg suspension. The bolts were surprisingly easy to remove. I've been following this guide: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=2164Its brilliant stuff, but, how do you actually remove the suspension from the arch?Help me please!Rob
ryan..
you have to push down the lower arm to allow you to get the fork part off the arm

650rob
Front all done. Could feel the difference straight away. Now I just have to do the rear: bushes and figure out how to get access through boot :/
burbleboy
Boot interior held on by clip / plastic rivets, take your time removing them and just peel back the boot interior trim to reveal the rear shocker nuts.
650rob
So it is just the speaker panal above shock I lift up?
col
put rear seats down then there's 1 clip holding carpet down at each side - it's fairly obviousthen just peel carpet back and hey presto. can be quite fun positioning it back mindcol
650rob
Cheers worked out how to get access to boot. My problem now is that the lower bolt, housed in the suspension fork, is stuck solid. I've sprayed it with an unlocking agent and given it a good scrub over the last two days but it is held fast. I've tried using a breaker bar but the socket / spanner just will not grip it. I also take it that if I wanted to replace the rear bushings on the trailing arm then the arm has to come out? A very annoyed Rob.
