Moe Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 right i got this problem after i changed my front droplinks, dont think this would have caused it though. my gear changes are all really stiff. and at high rev it refuses to go into third, this has happend overnight, was ok the day before. theres no funny noises from the gearbox and it has never crunched. it was silky smooth before hand aswell never had this problem before. now all of a sudden its getting really difficult to put in gear. i changed the gearbox oil last week as part of the service and the gearbox was fine, only happend this week.checked all the mounts and they are fine. no gearbox oil is leaking either Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest vtecfreek01 Posted February 6, 2010 Share Posted February 6, 2010 my mb6 sometimes is abit stiff to get into first gear...when cold...when the car is warmed up it selects all gears really good! why is this?ive noticed my slave cylinder is quite rusty, do you think a change of gearbox oil would sort this out?
