    Yep, VTEC-e is different again, only opening one of the inlet valves partly when cruising, to save fuel and create a good swirl, which makes a better and more efficient combustion. I thought I put on here descriptions of the different types but I may be wrong, was a while ago now!

    Different types of VTEC mate, the 160 bhp 1.6 twincam VTI 'B Series' engine is very similar to the 1.8 you have in your 'M's in terms of the way the Valves are controlled, it is also controlled and present on the inlet and exhaust cams, however the 1.6 'D Series' engine fitted to a EP2 civic sport, (108 bhp) only has VTEC on its inlet cam. There are quite a few different types of VTEC, just cos a car has a VTEC badge on its wing, it doesnt mean its a quick one......

After our conversations at various meets I was sure that whatever you were planning for Trinity D was gonna be special, mega even but fair play mate I'm staggered at what you have achieved! What an jaw dropping, uber mega amazing build!! Really pleased for you that its finally on the road and in its final stages, what a journey ey?!! Really interested in having a good nose under the hood mate, let me know if you attend any meets this year, (I know work is a pain for you), would be great to meet up and see the beast!! Sorry if I missed it in your thread, so its a K24 bottom end I take it, out of what? An Accord type s? UK spec? Amazing mate, truely amazing!

    Wow Paul, the car is looking absolutely stunning bud! The ATR spoiler really sets it off, it was one of the things I was going to do to mine when I had her. Wheels also looking sweet and the 6 hours cleaning it, but didnt have time to wax it???? So you just washed it and polished it and took 6 hours to do that? Now thats what I call a proper job!! You need anymore work done to it mate, you can clean mine while I do it!! Sounds like a fair trade....

Hi Guys, my name is Adam, just got my first MB6 last week and loving every minute of it! Im also a honda techy so any questions please ask, I dont know it all but i may be able to find it out......     You sure it aint leaking from the VTEC solinoid valve mate, they can often leak from there, new gasket sorts it out! Or even the rocker cover gasket leaks in that area if not changed at the service? Worth a look anyway? Cars looking awesome as usual mate!

    I'd only change the vtec solinoid gasket if it's leaking mate, but if you wanna change it it's an easy job!
