RobE84 Posted September 9, 2013 Share Posted September 9, 2013 I was trying to get to the central locking relay behind centre console and had tried to remove the heating controls unit, gave up and put everything back together, but now my vent position switch wont work, i can turn the know to all the different position but it went change the vents, so i took centre console out again thinking the wire had come loose off the back of the selector but that is all perfect can see it moving the cable when you change selector position. any idea where alese it could have come loose, as coming into the cold weather i could really do with having the fan on the windscreen... KiNK43 Posted September 9, 2013 Share Posted September 9, 2013 few things to check...Follow cable to the heater box and check the other end also.check the outer cable sleeve is secured and its only the inner cable moving not the whole thing.And make sure it hasn't bent anywhere.
