onejdmcivic1984
Im in the process of removing the fake wood in my MB3 and was wondering if it can be done via trim removal tool/screwdriver.I sanded down the easiest to remove part which is the gearknob surround and primered it. Im going to use Halfords Silver as the colour and wondering how many coats of lacquer are required to not only protect paint but also to make it smooth to the touch and easily wipable when it gets dusty? onejdmcivic1984
Well had a go at removing the long piece that runs across dash and it was a pig to remove.even with flathead screwdriver i manage to leave some indentations on the rubber plastic trim :s also snapped all the screw fitments although the springs are fine.just hoping it will go back on when trim pieces are sprayed up lol
