jalesi2001
I'll be suprised if its sensor related, (apart from the ones in the dizzy), as you would get an engine management light on. There are 2 parts to the main relay, one that runs the fuel pump, and one that runs the spark side of things, and also the igniter commonly causes starting problems on our cars, it sounds like one of them bud.You haven't got an after market alarm fitted have you?? danxs
ive got a cat1 fitted since the car was new. never had any problems with it thoughonce the car has initially started its fine. i think it may be down to a weak spark? i need another known working dizzy to check though. stoocake
Sounds dizzy related to me too - check the advance is set correctly. Wet plugs after it's been running could mean too much retardation on the timing. The whole dizzy assembly is held on with 3 bolts, which can be loosened and the whole dizzy rotated - have a quick read up on it before you do anything. danxs
dizzy timing is fine, nothing has changed as it was set to factory settings and the ecu should kinda sort it out a little if it needs toi guess it may be the spark not being strong enough on the ignitor and too much fuel from the cold start for the weakened spark maybe?
