Need some painting advice

Im going to give rattle canning a go, it may not be perfect but itll do for now.

Roughly what do I do to get it right and how much primer and paint do I need for possibly 2 bumpers and of course my Custom grill when its made?

Rattle can are not really the way but i understand money is tight at the min . you will need to get the bumper repaired if it needs any repairs and key the bumper with a red scotch pad , pre clean the bumper off to remove any grease and dirt , then plastic prim any bear plastic areas , then prim the bumper , once dry , flat the bumper with 500 grit wet and dry paper and spary the colour on i would say 2 to 3 can per bumper . you want to do nice light coat allowing the paint to dry between each coat , keep doing this till you have got the paint to cover . Then on to the clear coat , you want at half coat let it dry for 10 mins and then 2 full coat to get a finish . heat is a big part in this process . then you are done . Rich.

What sort of size can are we talking? I can get primer in 500ml but Carmen Red I can only get as 150ml on the cheap.

This is the thing , its hard to say it just depends how well the paint covers . Rich.

Ok, Ill see what Halfrauds has got in stock and work out roughly the Colour from how much primer I get through.
