HiHiVti Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 So I got myself an mb6 1998 VTi 123k miles I'm just about to get a full service and t belt / w pump done , im in love with it to be honest my girlfriend is starting to loose the plot , I'm useing any excuse to nip to the shop lol, I was just wondering about the performance as iv watched countless hours of u tube videos , when I open the throttle in 2nd or 3rd @4,500 rpm I can hear a cross over and nice grunt , then again at about 6,500 a smooth pop and great roar from the cat back, is this 2 stage vtec or is it something different any info would be great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have the standard intake and 4 branch on now but I just got my hands on a 4-1 doc sports many and a carbon slug intake I was just wondering after I fit these two bits of kit will I get that mental roar u hear from ek9 and dc2 I was led to believe it was the 4-1 mani??
