So I changed the idle position as it was running at 500 RPM and it was fine however after a day it adjusted itself back to 500 RPM... Done this a few times now and it keeps happening. Any ideas would be wonderful. My main issue now is when the car is warm and I stop at a set of lights or whatever, I get this terrible smell of burning oil inside the car. Once I start driving again it disappears. I am not loosing oil from the sump at all. I do however get quite a bit of white smoke until run at least 30-45 mins. Any suggestions of this issue at all? simpo Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Checked the oil to see if any signs of head gasket. If you can smell oil then I would you have a leak somewhere and it could be dripping on the manifold or something Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
