Lol, heck of a project this is.

All wheels done
Had a strange moment, my missus drove me home last night in the accord, found it so weird and a bit protective lol i dont like being a passenger in my own car!
I don't think any of us like being passengers in our own cars do we?

+1 for never seeing one of these before, nice plans. 17s do look good on a deck but if you are planning fairly decent lows (30mm or more) they will need quite a bit of work. 16s are perfect with lows.

Currently hunting down a gearbox. As I have broken mine.
Another one, jeez!!
I guess fresh is better than mouldy. Is fresh good? I'm getting old lol.

Cracking load of work this week chap, loving it. I'd like nuts like yours.
I also definitely want to tuck and strip my bay too, not sure about losing the ps though.

Looks sweet dude!
Are you a cheap whore then?
Or just a fithy whore?

They look good, shame you won't see them.

Good stuff chap.

Ridiculous bargain!! I just got the same money for my dad's old primera estate from the scrappers.
-
Oh no! You've reached the bottom of the barrel.

Nice work, Nick.
The tirm could do with a coating like gtechniq.
What did you use start to finish (pads polishs wax/sealants ECT)
Cheers James.
I did the trim after I took that photo, I use auto finesse for that.
Start to finish: bilt hamber snow foam, dodo btbm shampoo, bh soft clay, megs 205 with a black finishing pad, collinite everlasting wax then trim and glass were done and I went over with dodo juice qd.

Wow, goes to show how much all the creature comforts weigh.

So much for being an FB hater Dave!
To be fair he did promote the forum at the same time.

Few weeks?! She was probably thinking you'd fallen out with her!
Always feels good after a time away though! Probably be another week without mine before all the braking parts arrive/return, looking forward to getting them bedded in!
Yes, I won't be allowed to drive for 3-4 weeks, it's good motivation to exercise so I can get back to it sooner rather than later.

Ouch, have you tried the traders on here?
-
Well I've just driven her for the last time for a few weeks now and made sure I enjoyed it and saw the redline a few times. 1st and 2nd most of the way home, windows down, stereo off, massive grin on my chops!

Good news on the MOT, only 700 miles though! Wow. Maybe you should just take her out for a run once or twice a month, as long as it's not raining of course, just to keep her running nicely.
I can't believe you updated on FB first.

Could be something silly like a sensor?
x2, it usually is.

It sounds ideal, once you go much over 200bhp you start needing more complex diffs etc. and with the weight loss and chassis strengthening you've done it should be quite a track weapon.

That does look like a nice place to sit!

A bridge of fire?
Just had a phone call, they've assessed them and said they'll be able to sort, quotes are plus VAT so it'll actually cost me £199.50. Should be good for a many years after though!
Discs are on their way! Anybody know if the Mtec ones are sided?
That's a good price.
I seem to remember Tom put his on the wrong side first of all so that would be yes.

You can get fabric glue from b&q or hobbycraft or similar.

Quite a few of us do have a problem with castrol as it seems to make the top end rattle which I imagine would make your problem harder to diagnose.
Hope you get it sorted and have good holiday.
