I just wish my seals would hurry up! Its not all bad though, dragged this bad boy out the garage to use while the MC2 is off the road Just glad the weather is good at the moment
-
Still waiting for my injector seals to turn up so decided to fit the new hose's i got - Tidied it up nicely, Here's the crap i've taken off - Notice the copper brake pipe that we had to bodge up
-
Cheers for the info The guy from Mr injector uk got back to me and confirmed that the above link is the correct kit for our cars so i've ordered one of those. May aswell replace them all while i'm at it
-
Not sure, its leaking from the top where the fuel rail attaches.

Hmm, well after a few days of running one of my injector seals has sprung a leak... Knew i should of replaced the seals instead of reusing my old ones Honda want to do me with no Vaseline for a whole set of new ones, Anybody know where i can get a replacement seal kit? I've seen this one - http://mrinjectoruk.co.uk/seal-kit-14-Keihin-Honda-P1720681.aspx# but i'm not sure if that's the one i need!? Any advice greatly appreciated. Just ordered some lengths of hose and yea i shat my pants when it wouldn't fire up first go!

It has a htune basemap at the mo, pulls like a train so not knocking it. Had to do a few "modifications" on the vac hoses, got some proper ones on order now. The biggest issue i had was the wire for the IAC plug was too short so had to extend it somewhat, that was after i tried starting it forgetting it wasn't plugged in... Thought i'd broke it! Would fire up and die straight away

Yea i know what your saying, I'll get the fuelling checked when i get it on the rollers but it doesn't feel like it needs a remap to be honest... Might just put the funds towards a S300 and a wideband kit then i can do it myself

Well what a game i had last night/this morning fitting this bloody manifold! Started at 7pm and finally had it back together and running at 1:30am Here's a few picys - This is halfway through (about 10pm!) finally got the old manifold off! Just a note, if you ever plan on doing this, get it on a ramp or jack the b*****d up as getting to the bracket underneath the manifold is a pig! Both manifolds on bench, swapping injectors and sensors etc (10:30pm-11pm) Quick side by side comparison before fitting Manifold test fitted (12:30am) All back together and running! (1:30am) Was a much bigger job than i thought it would be but feck me it was worth it! The sound is immense and the difference its made to the mid range and top end is crackers! Feels much faster and responsive. Just need to take it to dynodaze to get it back on the rollers and see what difference its actually made. Need to get my hands on a new 70mm+ induction kit now

Quick update, Since fitting the lip kit my exhaust has been sat a bit too close to the lip and a little hidden. So went down to see the guy that built it for me and he gave me an extra inch Sits much better now - Hopefully fitting the inlet manifold this afternoon so should have another update very soon

Nah 17's are too big, 16's are where its at In black!

Still need to fit my mirrors, Intake manifold, throttle body and get the windows tinted. Agree with the lows, The MG suspension is good but just not low enough and i cant be arsed messing around with springs... I need some coilovers! What do you guys recommend? Also want some 16" wheels at some point but happy for the moment

Fitted the lip kit today, Looks so much better! I'll let the pic's do the talking What do you guys think? Still needs a few bits doing but its definitely getting there
-
LoL, will be a couple more years yet then
-
Easier said than done.... Not even sure how!
-
De-badged the boot (again) today and got rid of all the stickers that were on it. One was hiding a little scratch, so i cleaned it up and added a little skunk2 sticker that i got with my throttle body, its not the best but better than a scratch
-
299 mile round trip... Worth it!
-
Was going to attempt to fit the inlet manifold today but some thing else came up.... Popped up on facebook yesterday and i couldn't resist
-
Thanks noodels, makes me feel a bit better about fitting it, just need to dig out my mallet...
-
Oh yea nearly forgot, need to get myself a new induction kit as the induction pipe is smaller than the throttle body Any recommendations? Must be 70mm+

Cheers for the input guys, Thought it would be an easy straight forward swap Thanks but i've already checked that guide out, lots of pics and info but no mention of that coolant take off I'm not too worried about the coolant hose now, I can just block it off then maybe use it as a turbo cooling route in the future Its the throttle cable and bracket that's worrying me, read in some places its fine to use stock but then others say its too short and you need the DC2 type-R throttle cable and bracket... Wish there was straight forward guide somewhere, maybe i'll make one when i figure it out!

Got let down by my mate, had to close his garage up early Thought i might give it a go myself but a few things put me off, The enclosed info says you need a type r throttle cable and bracket, is this true? Also on the inlet manifold there is a connector where the coolant pipe connects but it has another smaller pipe coming off the big one (like a T-piece) that has nothing to connect to! Should i just attach a piece of hose to it and blank it off? Any info/pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

Nope! Its everywhere... Gonna have to start over

The boxes are nice... The contents are better

A couple of nice new bits have arrived Hopefully get them fitted Thursday
