You need to be in all the Honda parts groups on Facebook, they do crop up quite regularly. There is a set for sale at the moment in Cambridge with dual valve springs included... Here - Facebook cams

Hello all, Long time no see... Been busy buying my first house and getting everything settled. Just thought i'd stick a little update up as its been quite some time! I'm having this lot fitted at the moment - B18C6 cams, Skunk2 Dual Valve springs, Titanium retainers, Skunk2 LMA's and some ARP head bolts (not pictured). Getting it all done while my head is being refreshed as the valve stem seals have had it! I've also gone and got myself a Hondata S300 V3 but haven't quite worked it out yet Hopefully boost will be coming soon

Decided to do a job that i've been meaning to do since i got the car, change the p**sy squeaker of a horn! Old & New The new one is soo much better (Deeper/louder) I did order a twin pack but couldn't be bothered with the extra wiring and relay that comes with it so just fitted the one....

I know of a nice Nissan 200SX S13 that will be for sale soon

Was having a bit of an "issue" with it hesitating under part throttle and feeling a little down on power. This was going on for a couple of weeks so did some searching on here and lambda sensor kept popping up. Ordered a new one off H-Tune last week then the day it arrived my check engine light came on... but the hesitation stopped! I tried pulling a fault code but came back with nothing! So, finally got around to fitting the new sensor last night, what a bitch of a job! Sorted it right out though, no more warning light, no hesitation and it feels faster than it has for a while! Forgot to take any pics as it was a right royal pain in the a*s....

Not much of an update but decided to pay a little attention to my MC2 as been spending most of my time working and sorting the 200sx. Decided to fit some carbon wrap to my grill to get rid of the chipped red H and matt black surround, Tidy's it up quite well. Quite like it

Talk about rocking horse s**t, haven't seen one of those for sale in a looooong time

Fuel lines all replaced Drove it up the yard a couple of times, no leaks, clutch is nice and light with a nice bite, brakes seem good no lights on the dash... I'm a happy bunny! Need to crack on with the sills and underside now

Nipped down the unit earlier, put a new air filter in and gave the engine bay a quick tidy up. Was covered in dust n crap, looks pretty good now I swear this is much cleaner than my old one, apart from the rusty sills...

They are amazing cars, i do think I'm going to keep it pretty much standard though, Worth more Had one years ago and modded the hell out of it, so already scratched that itch. I do keep having bad thoughts though when i'm working on it My old one -

She's alive! Stuck a new battery on changed the oil and spark plugs added fresh fuel. Popped the fuel pump fuse out, turned the engine over a few times to get the oil round, popped the fuse back in and up she fired. No nasty rattles, just a bit ticky due to the hydraulic lifters, should soon quieten down after a run. We do have one problem though... I was just about to drive it off the ramp when my mate shouted at me to shut her off, i obliged and jumped out to see what he was talking about and saw a huge puddle of fuel spreading out from under the car Sent her back up on the ramp fearing the fuel tank was fooked as there were drips coming from all over the rear end! Turns out the fuel lines are s**gged.... Gonna have to replace them all so sub frame needs to come off so we may as well refresh it all and add some polybushes. And so it begins...

I owned one of these about 10 years ago and was absolutely gutted when i sold it. I've been eyeing up this one around the corner from me for a few years now, its been kept in his garage (If you can believe it!) for 5 years. I drove past last week and saw the owner outside his house and i couldn't help myself, asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said yes I didn't get a great look at it but it looked ok from the side i could see and i couldn't refuse the price he offered it to me for... Anyway got it picked up today on my mates recovery truck and this was what i was met with - The side i could see - The side i couldn't see - It had ivy growing along the side of it in their garage! So i set to work with some TFR, a jet wash and a bucket and sponge, ended up looking like this - Cleaned up pretty good i think! It does need some welding on the sills (surprise surprise) and some rust bubbling sorting out on the arches but everything else is sweet body wise. Engine wise, I'm not sure how it runs as i don't want to fire her up until its had a full service due to it being sat for so long and the ca18's habit of eating their big ends. Hopefully going to get that done tomorrow. Overall plans are to restore it and keep it as standard as possible (Yea right... ) Wish me luck!

Dot 4 and 5.1 mix just fine as they are both glycol-based, Its Dot 5 that cannot be mixed as its silicone based
-
LoL Unlimited boost FTW! Get it built fella, and get a decent wastegate
-
@snakey135 Only difference is boiling point, I only used the dot 5.1 because i got some free with my brake discs Shame i had to buy another 2 liters to bleed the barstuard! I can thoroughly recommend mtec grooved disc's, stoptech pads and hel braided hoses. Mine stops pretty dam well with this set up, only downside is the pads are a little dusty compared to my old redstuff pads but i can live with that @3gdean Its probably easier than you think fella, only ball ache is bleeding them!
-
I finally got around to fitting my braided brake hoses at the weekend, quite an easy job really. The hard part was the bleeding! First time we bled it the pedal was really spongy, Ended up using nearly two liters of Dot 5.1 and a vacuum bleeder to get rid of all the trapped air! Feels much better now Also fitted some new bleed nipples as the old ones were well past their best, had to remove the fronts with mole grips!

ABS sensor on its way out i'd expect, the bane of the MB/MC Had the same with mine, light had a mind of its own for months then decided to stay on constantly. Had to replace the O/S rear sensor for a new one in the end...
