I thought you just needed to earth the cable that is meant to go on the handbrake? Either way it has to be done
Pioneer changed there software so the earth trick will not work now
From what I understand, you can't just ground the wire permanently. When the unit powers up, it first has to see an open circuit and then a closed circuit to activate the video.

That's posh. Standard speakers are really good as well. Wouldn't think it they weigh about as much as a paperclip, tiny magnets but they do belt out

I have that DAB aerial on mine too!
Should look nice fitted! Have you read up how to replace it yet? Gear knob needs to come off and that bit of trim too! Not too difficult though!
Yep and do the e-brake mod with a 5 pin relay so i can watch movies on the go

ok then, 1st thing that i need a a good head unit for the new civic, pioneer one out the vti is nearly 12 years old, so needed a new one 10 years ago lol

There cheap enough. I have same prob on one of mine full beam don't work. Maybe swop bulbs around on to other ballest and see if it works on hi beam! Then u will know if it's bulb or ballest

That looks really clean and definitely the best colour, a friend of mine was looking at a 1.6 sport 3dr in that colour, gorgeous it was sold before we could get to it though.
It's worth paying a bit extra for what you know is a good car.
For sure mate,,We did look at a 1.6 s in blue but wanted alot for it even that it had no service history then day after found the demo car so worked out well

You can use single or double din. You can sacrifice the cubby hole of which there are plenty more.

karen's ep1 was a cool wee car to drive - we took a 1.6 for a spin when we got it and it was pretty nippy, but Karen wanted the cheaper tax
don't know if you plan to mod it, but we've got a r rear arb of an ep3 (john greens old one) which never got fitted (no brackets) if you want it (free)
that's if it fits the 5 door and it doesn't have one already.
Mods wise mrs want to lower her! and put new set of rota's on and air filter on it and thats it mate! i'm shocked that she wants to mod it at all lol

Ok so we couldn't find a the right CDTi for my mrs spent ages looking for one, and my mrs said that she would miss VTEC so we put down a deposit on and MINT Civic EU8 1.6 i-VTEC SE 5dr face lift model in the best colour electric blue (not sure on the corect colour name)
we are picking it up in 3 weeks time.What makes this civic so special is that it was a honda dealership demo car and has 1 owner from new (owned by honda worker too) and has FULL dealership service history
Its on a 04 plate and has the D16V1 engine with 121,000 on the clock and its been pampered all its live with genuine honda parts! its not concorse but it as close as you can get! We are very happy paid more then we should for it but you don'y find this sort of car every dayPhoto's
Cant wait to pick it up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i belive they all come with abs ring's as 90% of all civic m have abs fitted.
part comp sent me out one without it lol and said there fit , be alright

Only difference that I'm aware of is the PCD, 4x100 on the D series MA/MB/MC vs 4x114 on the VTi MB6/MC2. Don't know if that will mean anything when it comes to bearings!
they need the abs cog/splines aswell
