the cluster i put in the car does not have an abs light so i should be ok for mot. tbh i thought it was just a matter of swapping everything over. so its not that easy ?

looking to swap my hubs from dc2 to ek4. both discs all round. is everything a straight swap and what do i do about the abs on the ek as the dc2 dosent have abs.

the connections on my demister have broken off from the glass. i had soldered the clips back on but now they are off again. any tips other than get a new rear screen ??

holy sh**. i think you would be crazy to pay that kind of money for a 1.4 mb. just my opinion tho its up too you. could get a quicker honda for that money unless insurance is an issue ?

steering wheel isn't a straight fit. would love an ek9 wheel tho lol hopefully engine will be fitted in a few weeks. any one have a rough idea on what a rebuild would cost, rings and valve seals. anyone got it done ?

probably will put them on, want to paint them gunmetal first. what else is an up grade from the dc2 to the ek, was going to take the steering rack too, what else is a bolt straight on upgrade ?

I put fly eye kit on them too i can be bothered opening them. lol the car might be going 4x114 when i get the engine in. cant make my mind up whether to swap brakes nwheels over from the dc2, any opinions ?

yea i know 98 spec wheels would be perfect but have you seen the price the hub conversion is, never mind the wheels lol i will have the 96 wheels and brakes when the car is broke, tbh even when the car is broke if some one was to make me a decent enough offer the conversioon would be gone but my car on gunmetal 96 rims would look amazing. imo lol

cheers lads no lol my mate has the mb3 and the dc2 is sorned in a mates yard. aye the seats were bad lol need done again to have them spottless but will do for now. i love the vti blades but cant decide whether to do the brake and wheel conversion. dont see too many ek saloons with 96 spec wheels. would look amazing imo.

lol thats the way mines were. this is good stuff, spray on, let sit for a few seconds rub in and let dry, really effortless.

is the spoon grill not the same as a type r one and spoon lip mugen. dont like the lip but like the grill.

raz s autoglym hi foam interior. 6 quid odds from halfords, done a real good job with very little effort, real good stuff mines were bogging lol hickster, dont think ive seen a spoon grill and lip, must have a look probably cost a bomb lol completly lost interest in the dc2 dont know why. neede a bit of welding and a few other bits. and needed a bigger car for a baby on the way. really miss it now tho but needs must lol

havent been on here in ages so just thought id through a thread up of my new car had it about 2 months have done a few bits and pieces, will probably be a slow project but will through a few pics up anyway. plans are: -b18c out of my dc2 -type r lip -type r grill or sir ?? -get rust cut out and new arches in have 2 new arches for it. -take spoiler off undecided atm -swap brakes and wheels for 96 spec itrs -spoon n1 rep off the dc2 cant think of anything else atm. heres a few pics from when i get it to now. few pics of when i got it with my old mb3 and should be donor teg lol photo shop how it is atm

what way does the rust stuff work mate. do you put it on over the rust and it sorts it or do you grind rust off first. nice atr mate starting to like them myself, that looks in great nick aswell.

thanks for the comments, havent been on in a while from i got rid of the civic lol. shame on me lol price seems to be coming down a good bit now mate. but you get what you pay for lol have started to paint the wheels have 2 white ones and 2 purple, have lost interest in the car have just been driving it and enjoying it but will prob end up throwing a few quid at it. have to mot first. i have had a few bumps in it my boss/aunt reversed into the front and i reversed into a lampost, front is ok i need a new back bumper just lol have another few pics here, i will update any mods i do when funds allow plans are fix a few things, scrub seats spotless, paint wheels white, calipers red, red type r badges, and MAYBE fix rust lol heres a few pics with the wheels white.

No it wasent my mate who swapped bits over. He bought it and drove it for 3 days. Then it lay in his drive for 3 months he didn't like it and knocked 500 quid of for me, so was hard to refuse lol I am happy with it so who cares lol still goes well. Could do with a few quid spent on it but then it wont be a cheap car lol its had a hit at some stage but dosent bother me Cheers for comments

Must have been mate. Is this a mb6 wheel on it ?not unless the type r box was done and they have put vti box in as its cheaper. Suits me a bit better as I do a lot of driving. I got the car cheap off a mate so I dont mind as all the most important things are here n working. B18c and recaros lol The spoon exhaust on it is mental. Some noise off it LOL
