  1. Good right up mate .. Defo worth a look at getting one of these and having it set up properly ..

     

    Just for a comparison, my C4 has a skunk2 inlet, 4-1 exhuast mani, then straight through 2.5" and was dyno'd @ 189 ..

     

    Possibly an AFC Neo set up correctly could push it closer to the 200 mark ...

     

    Also, in the type r's vtec is normally lowered in what i have seen .. Is it just the M's that normally go higher?

  2. Inlet Air Butterfly, the valve that opens at around 5800rpm allowing full bats**t crazy mode.  ecstatic.gif1

     

    You should be able to hear the engine change note noticeably then as well as @4500rpm when the vtec higher cam engages.

     

    Ahhh ok, is this less noticable when inlet and headers have been changed? Cant seem to remember it doing this on my track civic ..

    If you can find a vtis deck that would be very nice, apparently only around 40 left though.  :(

Yeah should do, what's happening is when the temperature drops below a certain point the sensor tells the ECU it's in its cold start conditions so it dumps more fuel in and raises the idle to try and warm up. When I've been driving with it cold it's been hammering fuel because of it, but if I'm stationary for a few minutes the temperature gauge rises to normal and the idle sits where it should! 

     

    Yeah, otherwise we might get a repeat performance of when I changed the side skirts on Becca, one side fell off as I was trying to pull the front mudflap off (I'd undone all the sideskirt fittings) and the other wouldn't budge so a swift boot at the back soon saw to that :lol:

  8. I paid £3500.00 for it 12 months ago .. He refused to budge and wouldnt part with any cash my way :cry: 

     

    Its obv not worth that now .. But would like to get £2500.00 if i could...

     

    That leaves a nice fat wallet afterwards to sort things on what ever MB i get ..

     

    Or to start the modding process :-D

  9. There evo seats man, they are very comfy. Ideally if you can find the rails for them but if not I just welded them to the original rails, seems to work fine. But I'm sure you can make something up that works good.

    I cancelled the insurance on the lude. I'm not messing around with it. Just going to scrap it or sell it for parts. My lil bro will be selling his mb6 in February so I'm gonna buy that off him. And he's got a s80 LSD box on that. Gonna stick with the mb6s, one for me and one for my mrs :smile:

    This is M hoarding surely!
