Look at that 33k, you were mad to let it go!
Mad.
33,000 miles!?!!??!!?!??????!??????!!!
-
Hmmmm but of a tricky one....
I've had a new driveshaft before that was improperly balanced and made a horrible knocking/vibration so before you go gearbox try just changing the shaft as it could save a lot of time and money,
Check your ball joints and track rod end, you must always start off simple and cheap before digging deep and burning the wallet!
It does sound gearbox related but I can't get my head around the 50mph fine as soon as you go over once it happens all the time.... Now that makes NO sense whatsoever
-
Do t worry mine builds up to 3/4 when sat still in hot weather it will drop a little once the fan kicks in but not by much, whilst driving about it sits around the 1/4 mark,
The thermostat will be on the top hose the same as every other car,
You could try changing the thermostat or bleed the cooling system see if they helps....
-
I don't understand why they would be so intermittent.....
My 1990 Crx fuel light worked so why not on a car from the 2000's!?!
-
i must be in a minority here because my light starts to flick on as it gets to the bottom line and will do at least 30-40 miles when the light comes on constant maybe more i do not know as i was working and finally got to a garage after that many miles
and takes about 40 litres from when light stays on so about five litre reserve which sounds about correct to me...
Your a lucky guy then
-
I have had a fuel light on both my MC2's they work/worked every now and then at different fuel levels lol
They are pretty useless really.....
-
Oooooooo that looks interested, I might be interested in one of these also

is anybody running an aftermarket distributor?
Aftermarket as in external coil? There's a pla e in Essex called ignition car parts that do these ones for around £300
-
Make sure you take it down a 1/4 mile to see what time you run!
I'm currently sourcing bits for my blower
-
That's very good power from a Z6 mate nice one
-
That's a lovely car mate, personally liked it white but looks gorgeous in both colours
-
Oh and he's the guy that will be tuning my engine as he is very good at mapping Hondas and seeing good safe powers
-
What power is your Z6 running then dude with all that work?
I'm just getting a socketed P28 for now the main thing that confused me is the ecu harness but I spoke to daz at endless horizon and he said you just need to trim a little tab off one if the plugs for it to fit straight on so no problem
-
That's a very pricey clutch for an OEM one when you can pick a blueprint one up that will be just as good as the Honda one for £126 from a motor factors
I use blueprint all the time and they manufacture their stuff at a VERY high quality

Your video does this no justice,
Where's the noise coming from? You can hear the whining sound your on about but that would usually be the sound of a pulley, pump, tensioner or belt on its way out
There's not too much to go by with your video or information....

Indeed, I got the wrong woman pregnant 11 years ago, she's been screwing me ever since! Bitch!
Haaaaaa I like it
-
Fidanza is like the umbro of the the trainer world...
You get what you pay for though....
-
so where is the best place to get a ecu from?? and the best place to map it..?
For a GOOD remap I'd advise you to use daz at endless horizon in Northampton!
Will get you good gains and better fuel consumption!!!
-
DC2 done deal
-
Get a paddle clutch and learn how to drive all over again!
-
leads and plugs first if still no cure it'll be the crank position sensor or coil inside the distributor starting to fail,
I would know I've had many fail in the past
-
Do the heaters still blow hot?
Check for leaks if no leaks it's more than likely the head gasket is going.....
-
4-1 torque, 4-2-1 horsepower
These are the main benefits from the different designs, both will do the best of both worlds but work more towards one than the other
-
I think mines on the way out too. Had a couple of crunches switching into reverse even when its all the way down!
That's common on most cars mate, if it does that either roll forward a little then engage reverse or depress clutch try if it doesn't go in straight away release then put the clutch down again
pics from doing headgasket on my mb2 :)

Nice simple job on a SOHC
Good on you mate, saved yourself money doing it!
