i know im always running in the red and it still doesnt come on

Can anyone help me. My petrol light doesnt work. Ive checked the bulb and thats fine. It used to work when i went into the red but now it doesnt work at all. The petrol gauge is working fine (i think) is there any thing eles to check or shall i check sender unit

Put blueprint coil on now instead of the cheaper one. tested leads they all reading under 25 tested the wire on car whilst it was running into the coil feed to car and it doesnt exceed 12.5 volts so not over powering. Just hope last one was a dodgy coil heard a few things about ignition failing, not sure how to test that! car working fine at minute, but then again it worked with the old coil in for 150 miles then went.

Thanks for that Mark, only problem im in Chesterfield so bit too far for me to travel with no car lol What mileage have your leads done, mines done 120,000 think they must be original ones. They changed me the coil - gonna test the leads later and earth strap on engine. Is there any chance you could post them and i can pay you through paypal - would be really grateful Thanks again Mark

also ad new plugs only thing not done is leads ?

tested it today coil gone again just hope was a dodgy one

Did the test on the ICM with the LED (what i found on a site about LED's flashing to tell you problem) It said the ICM was not working. I put a new one on, still wouldnt go. Tested the coil after - that wasnt working Put a new coil (got it from local car parts place) on it went Car Started, running fine, working a lot better. Today died on me again - No spark Gonna test it again tomorrow to see which has gone this time Do you think there could be something else causing this or is it coincidence ive bought dodgy coil or ICM Second time being bought home on back of a green flag lorry

just knew some one that was scrapping one today could have ad it

does any one know if the ignitor, is same on a civic aerodeck 1.6 vtec

do you have to buy the heat sink seperate or does it come with the ignitor

thought i got away with this with replacing the relay. but last night it cut out on me and i had to get towed home. It could out it wouldnt start ive checked and ive got no spark at all - assuming its ignitor, anyone know where i can get a new one cheap and what name to get cheers

Clutch ordered from John Banks. Waiting for it to arrive. Cant wait to get it on, my gears are getting stiff now.

Does anyone know how to get the door trims off where it sits near the window. Mine have flaked off and you can see chrome bits. Ive painted them before but it doesnt look right. I tried getting them off but they dont want to but, but i want to get them off and paint them properly.

Does anyone know where i can get a black mesh grill from. Looked on ebay but cant seem to find one for mine. I want o get rid of the chrome one.

I know other is expensive. John Banks quoted me £109 + vat. tried ringing him but whoever answered the phone in parts didnt know anything about a forum. still waiting for a call back. ill have to try ringing him again
