serious??? lol ive read that the mgzs 120 suspension didn't improve much from the vtis suspension cause they were similar lol? confusion continues lol

and does the mgzs 180 shocks and springs lower a vtis at all?

I got mine this morning and they had blue stripes and blue an white stripes. The codes were rpd000120 which two had, and rnb000620 and rnb000620 for the other two. Can somebody inform me what i have bought lmao!?

Ive haven't been on in a few days and checking this post again, I bought a front and rear set myself from cwdismantlers off ebay and waiting on delivery, I am now quite apprehensive to see the condition of them lol, I asked all the usual questions too, mileage/condition/etc and they are from a car with 41k supposeddly. I did check the returns policy and guarentee so if im slightly unhappy about them when they arrive then they are being sent straight back also lol. I will keep you all updated upon their arrival lol.

does abs sensors off a rover 400/mg zs fit the civic ok?

Where is best to get a set of said shocks/springs and arb? Ive been searching about but not getting many positive results lol.

I have the same problem, I got fault code 17 which is rear left as you said so im also on the lookout for a new sensor off a breaker. I will report back if I replace it and it clears the abs light lol.

Hi guys, Just a quick one, does a standard aerodeck exhaust fit onto a vti-s? I know they are the same car but i was looking at one on a car today an the tailpipe looks longer? If it is im guessing its cause there would be a longer overhang from the back of an aerodeck. Im meant to be buying the standard exhaust from an aerodeck owner cause mime has a silencer cut off from the centre section which causes a horrific rasp between 2.5k an 3k revs and the baffles are shot in my back box, but if i do put an aerodeck exhaust on an the tailpipe turns out to be longer, would it affect the noise if i cut the tailpipe back to hatch size? Random drawn out question i know, apologies, lol cheers jimmer

I thought that this reply may come lol, but dont think i was being ignorant an just posting without reading the rules, I'm also looking for guys advice to see if there is a check you can do on your own iab diaphram to determine it is actually faulty. So hope you keep this post up so i can hopefully sort my problem, but if ya want me to cut out the question of somebody supplying a part then thats no probs. Just let me know

Hi guys, I have been offsite for a while but i had spoken about this problem i had with my vti-s before about the iab not working. I havent driven the car much since I was speaking to you all about it but now since starting to drive it again i had searched about to try an find a new iab diapram, but I cant even get one from Honda now, so wondered if anyone out there had an old inlet manifold lying around maybe with one still attached that would sell to me or can give me help fixing mine because i simply can't get one and my car is using a load of fuel and is a bit lumpy under accelration at lower revs since its running very rich. I hope I dont annoy anyone by posting this thread in this section, I am a desperate man simply trying to get mty car running well again lol

perfect info fella's, thanks again, once i find an standard system and an iab diaphram control thingy i will be on the hunt for a set of the shocks from the 180 seen them on ebay for around £120 a set although no details on the mileage they have covered, etc so i may hold off till i get a good reputable set

I was wondering, do the mgzs v6 shocks an springs fit and work in an mb6 or is it only the mgzs 1.8 that work. i was thinking do the fact that the v6 is heavier at the front, would the spring rates be totally different to the 1.8?

i know mate, i check my coolant and oil every couple of days but check the rest of the fluids every month or two, i know it only takes a few seconds more, so i will be keeping a closer eye on them from now on lol. but i do hate finding low fluids, and there is no leaks from the car, underneath the engine, etc and my driveway are spotless thankfully lol

no no wasn't dry, it was just below the minimum, not a huge amount, but enough for me to want to top it up for a journey

i agree with both replies lol, i would rather have fluid in it than no fluid in it, but as i said i called down to my local honda dealer today when i realised the low level and they were shut so have to wait for monday to get some proper honda fluid. i had to drive the car tonight and tomorrow so the halfords top up will only be in till monday then it will be drained and replaced with genuine honda fluid

Just a quick check guys, noticed my power steering fluid is low and i have to drive my car tonight for a fair run, and the local Honda dealer is closed. So i wondered if normal Halfords power steering fluid would do untill monday when they are open? Not very low but below the minimum and i can hear a groan from the pump when going onto lock and thought that a wee top up with non honda oil for a small period of time would be better than driving with it below the level. Would you guys agree or any advice or past experience you could share with me?
