  1. Well small measly update after just reading davemb2's update  but hey! never the less

. finally finished my cf badge tonight i will get this mounted tomorrow. Looks great dont know what happened in the pic though it looks distorted in the bottom corner of the 'H'.

.Also found a (spoon, I think is fake) engine torque damper that a mate gave to me from his old delsol. I have had this lying around for ages so i might aswell fit it. Although i think im gonne remove the spoon etching. Surely the etching would be better quality if it was genuine?

This is mine on LO 40mm springs doesn't scrape at all ( unless driven like a d**k of course) im impressed with them for the money although would benefit from uprated dampers. Will do this myself once i manage to save some more moneys

  3. Looks a pretty good base! as for the idle problem i had this, it turned out to be the throttle position sensor but i just changed to a known good throttle body with all sensors attached.

You could always try reading the flash codes using the wire loop trick, i thing there,s a how to on here some where? Thats how i diagnosed mine.

  4. Bit of an update!

I took the m over to my mates garage where me and ste got the rear quarters 98% finished and in 2k filler prime. really pleased with the result just a little more shaping to do, I also bought my top coat an laquer etc. I cant wait to paint it im sick of driving round in a multi coloured car already

But hey ho, good things come to those who wait

Here are a few pics of the progress and various pics from its first weekend on the road in my ownership!

Big thanks to ste and john!

Also got it laser aligned today and fitte a new falken zeax i think its called as since its been on the road its b****red a tyre due to the tracking being 11 degree out

Sorry if i went abit ott on the pics

  5. ha yeh i do that on a regular basis

Well... good news, i rebuild the brakes maing sure everything was really free and copper greased.

At first try it would have failed but as the tester was abit of a honda nut himself and he told me to go for a hard drive stamping on the brakes, Then it passed with only 4% imbalance :D

Happy days, i now have a years ticket!

  6. If you have read my build thread my m went in for the test today and failed on front brake imbalance 38%, i understand the pass requirement is 25%

Has any one else ha this problem? if so how did you go about it?

Also are the civic brake system x-linked so could it be a prob with say the rear right thats making the front left weak?

I was thinking of cleaning up my front pads/d**ks, free up grease pistons, bleed one final time.

Any thing else any info will be usefull as its in for the retest on saturday morning and i have other bit's and bats to do too.

    Ta guys!

  7. Yeh it is we did some welding on that too surprise surprise

No i havnt really driven it since iv'e had it but there has been a boat load of work to do on it as you know. Ill just be glad when i get round to painting it and i can do nice jobs and clean it, I havnt cleaned it since iv'e owned it
