Yeah it really does. After giving it a good thrash round some twisty roads you can feel a massive difference. Grips like its on rails now

It was £168, bit more than i wanted but there was a lot to adjust. All the setting where way out. They charge £20 for a toe adjust and £15 for camber. So mine was 4x camber and 4x toe = £140 +VAT He also said bring it back in a few weeks and he will re mesure it to see if anything has changed and re adjust it free of charge. In the end id rather pay more for a good service

Cheapest way to get a good looking tie bar is to powdercoat the oem one. cost me £35 to get anti roll bar and tie bar painted and look really good. Beaks bar dont really do anything, just for show.

Been to the alignment place today and finally got everything sorted! Took 3 hours of struggling and bending spanners, even needed blow torch to get old track rod ends loose. All worth if though, handling has been completely transformed. Recommend any one who has been playing with their suspension to get it done because you will feel a difference.

There is a place near me that I'm going to this week. He says he can do me a custom set up but would make his job easier if he had something to work from. The only other way to do it is get it back to factory spec then make small adjustments from there. Just have to get it on the ramp and see what happens I guess

Any one get their print out for me to show the alignment place so they have something to work from?

Got MeisterR coilovers and adjustable camber arms on my civic so now need it setting up. Went to a place today after being told they can aligne it for me but when they saw the car they said they couldn't do it as it was lowered even though I already told them it was. They would only set it to factory settings aswell which defeates the point in having everything adjustable. Was wondering what other people on here have done and has anyone got a print out of their alignment settings so i have something to go off. Im trying to achive a fast road and occasional track day set up. Any ideas?

Definatly dont get the tigewa brace. I tryed fitting it today thinking i would just re drill the holes but its so out it cant be made to fit. Gona give up and get a different one. That MG one looks pretty good, similar to the oem one in the engine bay.
-
one set of holes line up ok and with a bit of a tweek it should fit. The other holes are in the wrong place compleatly. I would need to drill new holes to make it fit

Iv got a tegiwa rear upper strut bar for my VTI-S. Its supposed to fit a 96-00 EK civic. I thought that Stuff from EK civics fitted our MB6's but the bolt holes are out by miles. Im going to send it back and get a different one but am now not sure whats going to fit. Should i try the EG or DC2 one?

Yeah 17s on 40 profile tires. I think what I will do is try and adjust the springs and then fine tune it with the damper adjustment. When it's time for new tyres 45 profile will be a better choice. See how it feels then

I have fitted meisterR coilovers to my vti-s and got it nice any low. Only thing is the ride is very hard and bumpy even with the damper set to lowest setting. It was ok at one point but not low enough so i cut the arches and lowered it another 22mm and since then the really low stance has made the ride to uncomfortable. Is there any way to soften the ride a bit without raising the car back up? Maybe undo the springs a bit to give it more travel or something but im not sure. Any one got any ideas? Here is how its sitting at the moment

Im going to retrim my headlining as its looking very tatty. Got it out fine but not sure how to remove the sliding sunroof part. It looks like I need to drop the whole sunroof out but i really don’t want to mess about with that. Just wondered if anyone knows a better way?
-
Got it all fitting correctly today. There was some sort of sealent all around the top of the tower, think its used to bond body pannels together but there was way to much. Cut some of it away to make it flat then a tiny bit of the inside of the brace needed fileing away then it fitted perfectly. There was a 6mm gap between the 3rd point and the bulkhead but a few washers sorted that out.
-
Haha think that answers my question, thanks Nick. Looks pretty cool, better order one
-
Yeah i have the same gap at the 3rd point against the bulkhead, gona use washers to fill the gap. A/C not a problem on mine as i ripped it all out. Good to hear the old brace still fits over, better give it a coat of paint

Looking for a new spoiler for my vtis and came across this MGZS one which iv not seen on a M before. Any one know if it would be ok? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MGZS-180-SALOON-REAR-SPOILER-/271360042737?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2e51a6f1

Yeah thats a good idea. I would also turn the heating up full everytime you drive it to continue drying out the interior because its really hard to keep it dry this time of year, wet shoes and coats dont help either. My heating dont work so my damp keeps coming back every now and then. Changed the thermostat cos that was stuck open but still no joy
-
From your pictures it lookes like you have the same problem as me. I thought i had a leak but turned out to be very bad codensation. My sunroof was dripping with water aswell as the window screen and it soaked my headlinning. Its because once the inside of the car gets damp its very hard to dry it out in this weather, so everynight when it gets cold you get even more condensation on the inside of the cold metal roof. I fixed it by puting a heater and a dehumidifier in the car to dry it out. Once its fully dry no more water everywhere.

Dont see how it could be fitted wrong, just undo the shock top bolts and slide the brace over and refit the bolts? or is there a better way of doing it? Does the sk2 inlet get in the way cos i was thinking of getting one of them aswell ?
-
Hey folks Has anyone fitted a tegiwa 3 point brace to their mb6? I am trying to fit one to my VTIS, the bolt holes line up ok but the base dosen't sit flat on top off the suspension tower. Was thinking to just fill the gap with washers but seems like a bit of a bodge. Any one elss noticed this with their's?
-
Ah well done mate, thats what i need. Hopefully i will get a code and find out whats wrong. Thanks

Started my car this morning and the ABS light has come on and stayed on. Also at very low speed, like in stop start traffic there is a grinding/clicking noise and i can feel the vibration through the break peddal. Any ideas whats going on and how to fix?
-
Yeah that is a bit weird, can't see any reason why they would be different. Should be fine though.
-
All the ones i have seen are red. What colour did you get then? Yeah man!!!! cant wait but gona have to. If you read my project you will see why i cant untill i change my skirts and bumper.
