I guess it's always going to be a matter of opinion with tyres. Some will say good, some will say bad. I suppose it depends on what you expect from them. I've got 205/40/17 on a set of team dynamic pro race 1.2 alloys coming next week, will give them a good run and report back with a verdict.

Ahh No, just saw this after ordering 4 toyo T1R's (fell for the hype im afraid) oh well as long as they were good while they lasted its ok, cheap enough aswell. just have to see how they go, gota be an improvement on the budgets i used to have. thanks all.

Am going to treat my self to a new set of alloys but not sure what tyres to fit. Have heard good things about Toyo's, Falken and Yokohama but need peoples opinion. Whats on your Mb and are they any good? Did they last long and have good grip in all weather? Hopefully this will start a small debate and finally help me make up my mind

no, they have 2 stud patterns 4X100 and 4X108 i think. all i know is they dnt fit cos i tried to fit them as soon as i got the car

is doing the hub swap for mgzs 180 so i can keep my 4x100 alloys easy to do? if breaks are the same size im guessing i can keep my calipers and pads and just swap the hubs and discs? should be cheaper to do this than buy new alloys, plus i love my newly refurbed force 10's

thanks for all the good comments guys, glad you like so far. got loads of things to do just need some warmer weather. had to take off my bonnet release catch today and clean it up cos it wouldnt let the bonnet open nearly froze my hands off doing it. want to remove my headlights and clean them up cos they have yellowed quite badly, also de tango and paint the chrome bit inside. not sure what colour to paint it though, seen a lot of people on here do it black which looks good but never seen it on a white mb anyone got pics showing blacked headlights on white car? would be big help thinking white to match car would look good to?

not really, i think i would have to change the hubs. these alloys are 4x100, VTIS is 4x114 so not sure what can be done. just easier to sell them and get ones that fit properly.

yeah the VTIS only comes in pirates black but i always wanted a white one. the body work wasnt that great when i got it so respray was best option so went for the colour change. i am gona put it on 17" team dynamic pro race 1.2 alloys with probably Toyo tyres when i can afford it but gota sell 2 other sets of alloys first. had these KEI racing, force 10, alloys on my old mb6, got them refurbed and powder coated in black ready to put on this car but didnt realise its different fitment Doh! newbie mistake but oh well. once i get new wheels on it i am gona slam it to the ground, will have to put mg zs side skirts on though or it will be right on the floor. they were a bit of a mistake really but it makes the car look low in the mean time cos i wont be getting coilovers for a while. (need new bathroom first)

yeah man front lip dropped down about inch and a half and smoothed. rear is a fibre glass extension, needs mess put in though. makes the car look mega low

thanks mate not sure if i want spoiler yet, like the smooth flushed look. gona be an mg zr spoiler in black if i do get one though. or put the VTIS one back on maybe main thing i need now is some tasty new black alloys!

bought myself a VTIS last octobre after wanting one for years and loving it! car was completely standard when i got it apart from window tints and loads of tacky gadget holders stuck all over the dash. first thing i did was send it off for a full respray in Audi white. hard decision to make but had a pirates black mb6 for 4 years now and wanted a change with my new car. finaly got it back a few days ago and now the snow has started to melt i can have a good look at it and take some pics. got the plastic window strips and front grill which i have sprayed up to go back on the car but to cold today, tomo hopfully. nice and shiny! hope you like it so far
