  1. LOL it was him who told me that it was the most tricky job he has done so far yet the wright up says both off in 15 mins Knight You Lied will try next week on my days off not looking forward to it
  2. Has anyone done a how to on removing window trims all i have been told is its a pig of a job they really need doing
  3. Not going for vtis side skirts am going the MGZS route after seeing knights they tie in much better with the rest than the original ones do And they are FATTER so i got no choice

Yes i did thats why first pic is the same angle as the one you showed me as that one made me laugh best save some pennies for rest of kit then big expense getting kit sprayed pirates P.S Loved your car in the flesh mate drove beautifully (gonna do the light conversion we spoke of) vtis kits are normaly pirates black already so you should be ok! Thats a result only the side skirts to get sprayed then

  7. Cool thanks for comment I think your comment has just convinced me that it needs to stay black and also when i put kit on it needs to be pirates as well i am keeping all the original black just got to tidy up areas (like the window trims)

ITS ON Some pics for you This is what was revealed After one min of colour cutting Without a spoiler she looks strange But Then this happened Was really easy to fit a bit tricky disconnecting old spoiler brake light have not connected one in window yet as will have to remove entire boot lining That jobs not for today i need to go out and show off
  10. Just got back from shop to get supplies needed to fit spoiler Double sided sticky foam and tipex (as per instructions on knights how to fit spoiler thread) Right im out of here got a spoiler to fit NOW
  11. Quite handy my M has a factory fit brake light in back window so just got to connect back up

  13. Been home half hour from going to collect spoiler (3hr there 2 and half back) was well worth it though, got to meet another member (Knight is a cool dude) and got to go in his car. Funny i have never seen a vti inthe flesh before today got to see three while i was at Knights a guy turned up to collect his ebay purchase from him in a vti and when we went for a drive in Knighs we saw a highly modded one two mins from his house (he had never seen it before) The drill is coming out tomorrow will post pics tomorrow evening once its on
  14. I have indeed, i found them on ebay same price but in grey primer if i got ebay one would have ended up getting it sprayed same colour as car this way can try something different
  15. ONLY APPROX 18 HOURS TO GO TILL I TAKE COLLECTION OF THE NAUGHTY SPOILER LOL im a forty year old man and im getting excited about a tall spoiler
  16. i have not even taken to a garage yet to diagnose fault when the horrible noise appeared i toned down my right foot and as i use her for work have actually done about 1700 miles since and its not got any louder or caused any grief keeping below 3000-3500 ish it sound fine apart from a metalic hum from third gear upwards

  18. bur i have just spenty £75.00 of the money i am saving to get it fixed on Knights spoiler Guess i will have to wait even longer.....
  19. not till i get her fixed it is driving me mad not driving normal from 5000rpm up is so much fun I miss it
  20. DITO: Had on my laguna and its on my rover coupe will keep my eye on this one also may even see if i can find my coupe manual see if it helps
  21. Not really thought about that yet Got to be a bit sensible as she is my work car so some economy would help its got gearbox issue at moment so i have not been able to vtec her for ages (untill shes fixed)

Thanks all for comments: it mat look good in photos but front bumper is in real mess (one careless previous owner) and the trims along the bottom of the window are really bad but the rest has survived the years very well couple of spots of rust i will be on them soon i will fill them and primer them up then get someone who knows what they are doing to spray Looks good because i spent many hours colour cutting and polishing on quite a few occasions since buying her the very end of march this year EmZvr: sorry mate cant see the image cheers anyway. The ones i saw were a different shape to standard MG ones may order them in a couple of weeks will post pics if i do order them.
