    MB6 Rear wheel bearing

I put a blueprint one on my mb6 the part number was ADH28319 if thats any help?.
  2. It sounds like the caliper i had exact same problem on my mb6, the piston was seizing all the time but it looked healthy. Double check by cracking the bleed nipple and pushing the piston back, if it is still really hard to go back replace the calliper, if it goes back easy could be the flexi hose has collapsed.
  3. The good old days when you fixed cars with tools and knowledge, now its all computer diagnostics.
  4. You cant be that old My first 3 cars were post fix!
  5. Haha so do I, this is the first non prefix car ive ever bought!.
  6. Old cars Tom!, I bought my first MB6 7 years ago it was mint and had 90k and a full history, I paid £1650 for it!. They aint dropped much in 7 years.
  7. Not sure if its standard I had a go of one 3 or 4 years ago and wasnt impressed, my ones quick, its quicker than the MB.
  8. dunno Cupra R prices are similar to EP3 ones.
  9. Swapped it and £200 for a 02 plate Cupra Tom.
  10. Pretty easily my MB was getting on a bit and i got fed up of the lack of torque and midrange grunt
  11. Bye bye vti, swapped it for a Leon Cupra the other day.
  12. Saw this car in Inverness on Friday it was looking good.
  13. ive always had a thing for these too, old skool cool with a moden twist.
  14. Jake is right i replaced one of mine recently.
  15. i had a Passat TDi 115bhp PD engine with a tuning box and it easy beat my mates A4 TDi 130 and was dead even with another mates A4 Qauttro TDi 130 which had a proper remap and was 172 bhp but obviously 4 wheel drive and had a bit more transmission drag. To be honest though cheap tuning boxes are a bit crude, its just basically a resistor which fools the ECU into thinking the car is cold and pumps more fuel in, my passat used to pump black smoke out the exhaust when i booted it with the tuning box fitted!.
