Yup that coupled with the new headlights. Change the wires and connecting plug (its normally the bulb plug that melts and the connecting copper bits get corroded. I have the same problem with my Mitsy at the moment so i just got newer connections of an 2001 Colt.

I had a this problem mate. Had HID's great light but when i went back to H4 Bulbs for NCT (MOT) it was dangerous to drive at night. I bought Brand new Headlights from Honda still did'nt fix the problem so i went to my spares car and cut the head light wires of it put em on my road car and boom lights better than my Mams 2007 toyota Auris dips and full beam. Any H4 car wires should work as long as u wire them correctly solder and shrink wrap them i am just lucky to have 2 parts MB's Hope this helps mate

well its in good enough shape except for the 40mm lowering springs that are cut so you get a 100mm drop so the floor pan has it the ground a few times hahah there is like and inch between the spring and the top of the shock when at full extension sinful dents and it was bought in Donegal (all cars that come from Donegal have the excrement drove out of them lol hence the engine rebuild sort of) i know it sounds like a waste of money just for a D16 but im going to fill the shell full of old metal and scrap it so i should make about 200 on that i also have a few catalytic converters to scrap get around 30 to 50 each so not worried

And so it starts, Endless pit of wires dust etc... Donner car Damn shes low I think my head is going to explode with this project lol there will most likely be a few brick wall moments to pass let the fun commence

So a list of things to do to get it looking pretty after mechanical are done. Put door cards to match the half leathers on. Put on 2 new Back doors. Have from my last M. Lip kit, bumpers and rear arches need dents/scuffs painted get as many dents removed as possible i cant stretch to a full respray (this will be done by a professional who says he can remove dents without damaging paint) Paint and fit spoiler. Remove sunroof to strip off the old cloth of the headliner maybe do something mad or just a plain black cloth haven't decided yet And a new set of 16" Ray Volks or something along them lines maybe weddsports etc..

Well i have always loved working on cars so no reason to stop now.And if i can do it on my own car i can do it for someone else to earn a few extra quid on the side

im currently removing the wireing loom for the Vtec engine will take a few pics. Then have to send it away to get head skimmed may aswell seeing as new head gasket piston rings valve seals cam seals shell bearings etc is being done. At least i know it will be good for years to come

Got one of a civic EK VTI just swapped connectors and worked its not for my car i don't have ABS (thank God) . i shrink wrapped etc but i said it may be only a temporary solution due to the fact of chopping wires etc... The car on the left was the 1 with ABS faults. And a little bit of work done. to my own car. and its rust free underneeth ecstatic.gif1 and a mates car that needed a little TLC never mind the Type R sticker he thinks cus its a civic it should say Type R Rusty

around 240 pounds all civic mb have the same abs sensors?

Question! Are the ABS sensors catastrophically expensive for these cars or is it just me? 330 euro for 1. And is there anywhere to get cheaper ones?

Ah my god feel like a knob now lol i couldnt understand if i read the long flash or not im used to OBD2 my mate has a £5000 diagnostics computer but he dosent have OBD1 :/

Thanks mate. But theirs nothing there to tell me what 7 blinks is. there is another link on that page for a old civic 5 thread but it comes up not found i suspect this is were i would find the error codes i need! If anyone knows if this has been moved to another thread????? Thanks
