Iv decided to swich the wheels back to originals on the mb.

i had never seen the carbon look before i brought mine which i thought was a nice touch.... also kinda reminded me of my teg lol my mum used to have an mb it was a 1.6 single cam vtec and that had full cream leather seats... looking back i guess that must have been an optional extra from new or sumin?

I was wondering if anyone knows how many different variations of trim-seats ect they made in the mb6? my friend used to have one and i think the fabric on the seats was a slightly different pattern to mine and the trim instead of the wood had a smoked effect but mine is different with a sort of carbon style look??

Got receipts from the honda dealership in dorcherster and the numberplate says dorcherster collection at the bottom

Thanks for the compliments guys ......purely out of intrest let me know if anyone recognises either of them? looking at the history (and number plates) the vti used to belong to someone in Dorset who sold it to the guy before me in 2006. The teg has only had one UK owner before me and i purchased her in september 2013, she was imported in Southampton in 1997. Would be interesting if people knew previous owners and i was also told the civic used to be in an owners club so may even have been owned by somone on here?!?

cheers budeerm i think they would be ok on an open cone filter to prevent the odd splash of water but i have the tegiwa mugen rep cai which is all inclosed and has a direct feed from the scoop on the bumper so if the feed became submerged it would be like an elephants trunk lol

Thanks guys- iv had the teg waxoiled and the arches stonechipped this year- she is very clean bodywork wise and the civics arches are decent from the outside, i havent had the chance to get her on a ramp and have a good look around yet (apart from 5mins when a guy did my tracking last week) but i think she is fairly decent underneath

Nope iv had the teg just over a year now and have used her as my daily driver but the road i drive to work has started to flood quite badly already so needed somthing a little higher until the weather clears up a bit (cold air feeds and floods make me paranoid lol)The tegs currently got 11months mot same as the vti

Hi to all! Was told to get on over here and start a build thread in this section so here i am (with pics as promised) Decided to give the vti her first proper clean and also thought i would dig out a set of wheels i had floating around at the back of my garage.... which meant i had to bring the teg out The vti was on standard rims when i picked her up but i thought id try these an decided they looked ok... may swap back over havent made my mind up yet lol

so are the mg shocks better than the standard mb6 ones?

just been offered four vti shocks with pi springs for £100 so really tempted atm lol-did it handle any better with the cheap springs?

Im sorry if this has been covered hundreds of times before-but i was wondering what the best springs are to replace the mb6 standard ones? A friend of mine had an ek and just changed the oem to eibach and said it handled loads better but wasnt ridiculously stiff on oem shocks-but after searching this forum i had seen people didnt think eibach springs made the mbs sit right? Im just looking for a stiffer ride and 30-40mm drop- any sugesstions guys? cheers
