4. Hi. Been told by Dave to get some pics of my car up so here it is. And an arty one! It's a 1.6ES, so it has full leather interior, A/C, etc. I'm only the 2nd owner, so everythings as it should be! I put it into Honda to have the proper Honda front fog lights fitted, the Honda sunroof wind deflector and got an MP3 stereo too. Just wanting to change the wheels now. Love my aero to bits
5. Saw this YouTube video and an Aerodeck had a cameo roll; Skip video to 7.59 for Aerodeck!
6. Hi, So I recently bought my Honda Civic VTi MB6 in the UK, but now I have to do a special "Import MOT" here in Belgium, so I need new headlights (LHD traffic) Now I'm looking for the headlights but I'm puzzled tbh.. I never had this much of a hard time finding out which are the good ones ? I see headlights that have an electrical "lightfield" adjustment and no lightreach adjustment and then others that have both, but I really dont know which is which tbh.. All I see is a switch to adjust the height of my headlights inside the car, is there another option to adjust the Width or something in specific MB/MC/MA's ? cheers

HI new on the group

Hi new here on the group thought it introduce myself and show you my mb civic, I had a Mb6 vti last year posted it on this group but sadly it had to go as a baby was on the way and didn't think I could afford it, bought a Mk4 golf, but straight away I hated it, was told of this little civic the same colour as my old vti and that was that, the old man I bought it off wanted 300 pound for the car aslong as he could have the number plate back, I went up To buy the car on my birthday and he was talking away and he said to me if you sort out taxing and insuring the car so I can get my number plate back pay me for all the parts I have for the car and take the car, so the car cost me 120 pound couldn't believe it, the parts I got with the car were: Honda access headlight protectors! Vtis side skirts Vtis rear lip Vti front splitters x2 Vti spoiler Vtis mats Brand new headlights So I stuck to my word motd the car etc and I had sat up. For 3 years and it passed mot first go and all I done was put an indicator bulb in the car So the car when I bought it with the parts

8gen Accord TypeS Tourer

Thought I'd start this seeing as I've started doing a couple of bits to the dad wagon. so far I've put some eibach springs on, fn2 wheels with 15mm spacers upfront to clear the brakes and 20mm on the back. spacers aren't needed on the rear but I felt like it needed them as the wheel looked a little lost. I've changed the tyre size from the standard fn2 size of 225 40 to 225 45 but to help fill the arch and keep it comfy. Its been remapped and I've put the bonnet deflector on.

Dan's Blue Vti Aerodeck

well I'm new to the whole aerodeck club really, but I've always know about them and had a soft spot for them and now I've got myself one! I've managed to get myself a rust free vti aerodeck with loads of history and less than 100k on the clocks.. just lol. the engine and box are great very smooth and quite and the aircon even works! there's a knocking on the suspension/steering somewhere, I think its a track rod so those will be changes this weekend. the rear brakes were past it so it's had new disks and pads on the rear. But I'm pretty sure the rear sliders are sticking so that's another job to check over. the sunroof needs a new seal it doesn't let water in but the noise on the motorway! the drivers window also need looking at. it's as if its sitting lower on one end and when you put the window up it drags in the window seal. then it just needs a parcel shelf, a new horn, rear bumper and boot lid could do with some tlc or swapping and the drivers wing could do with being changed if the dent can't be pulled out. not to bad for an bus right? now for the goodies! I've bought a few little bits for it first of all was a vtis kit front and rear skirts and side skirts then I found a mid spoiler on eBay pretty cheep so I bought that right away! the kit does need painting so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get that done. I managed to get a set of genuine floor mats for free and they're pretty mint. Today I've had a new set of wheels delivered in the form of 16x7 rota fighters with brand new yoko tyres. can't wait to see them on! the next step now is coilovers which I'm thinking about ordering after payday. exciting times! I'll leave it there for now. I'll try get some pictures up over the weekend. Dan

14. Car is on Ebay atm if anyone is interested in bidding. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F293421025860 Honda Civic 1.8 VTI Aerodeck 147k mileage MoT August 20 Full vtis lip kit Mid spoiler not fitted but it will come with the car Vtis alloys sprayed pirates black Wind deflectors De chromed headlights All bump strips and rear number plate strip colour coded Mesh grill Rhino lip on front Yellow tinted sidelights and fog lights. Both perfectly fine fog lights Rear JDM taillight mod done Catback exhaust welded onto the cat. Sounds deep and sporty Accord gear knob like vtis one but without the writing on it Cheap induction kit Last serviced 27/06/19 Rear trailing arm bushes done Both driveshafts replaced with brand new ones from j&r 4 wheel alignment done recently Pulls well no smoke in or out of vtec BAD Points: There is oil leak in engine bay. I have been told it's probably the cam cap seal leaking. I have got another one that will come with the car along with a rocker cover seal Abs light keeps coming on and off Sometimes it's hard to change gear specially if you rev it high but on other occasions smooth gear change. I looked into it and found out it could be slave cylinder needs replacing. I have got new one which will come with the car. Sometimes I feel the car takes longer to warm up in winter then it should but I never had any issues with fluctuating temperature though. I still got a thermostat from japserviceparts that will also come with the car Body work is good. No rust on arches but it has quite a few scratches that bother me so machine polish is required. No dents. Some lacquer peel on the front bumper There is a leak on the driver's side top pillar Driver's side window goes up and down properly but when it reaches the top it keeps trying to go up. Minor problems nothing major but I am just being as honest as possible in description. Follow on instagram @honda.4.life to view many more pictures of the car.

16. As the title suggests, lets start the new year off with the 1st pic of your Civic M this year! Here's DD to get you started!
17. Hey lads, Have previously put a build thread on civiclife forum but thought I'd wack one up here too for different opinions etc. Currently I have re-sprayed the grill and re-badged boot... Ive cleaned up bay, powder coated rocker cover and fitted short ram induction kit (soon to be cold air induction kit)... Removed headlight washer jets... New head unit, fusion sub and fli door speakers... Next I plan to fill jet holes in front bumper and re-spray it, along with skirts and rear bumper as they have a few dings etc. Purchased the relevant stuff for this from halfords, had a question though... If i get paint colour using cars ext. paint code... Once lacquered will it have the desired effect or will it look out of place.... The silver has a metallic shine to it but not sure if my sprayed bumpers will come out the same as not done this before? Any tips welcome please!! Here's a couple pics anyway...
18. Browsing autotrader to see just how many civic Ms are still out there for sale and stumbled across this! Pre facelift civic M with.............14K on the clock and in pristine condition!!! Looks like it just rolled out the factory!! 7 Price seems high, but that just looks so mint. I wouldn't want to mod it, has to stay as is imo. Autotrader link

Evolution of the civic

Can't remember if I saw this here in the first place, but just came across it in my favourites on my phone and thought I'd share it coz it's pretty cool https://www.motor1.com/news/268425/honda-civic-history-slideshow/
21. Well, here's the build up of my first MB6. Only had her 5 days and already i'm in love with her!!! lol Oh, and she's been officially named Ruby! Goes with her Ruby red paint (ok, I know it's sicillian red!! ) I'm no stranger to M's have had my MA8 civic (blue Betty!) for around 5 years! Right, heres the info on her when I got her. 1998 S-reg sicillian read pearl 39,000 miles Full service history, 2 owners from new (Honda being the first, up to 6,000 miles, then the owner I bought her from at 38,500 miles) standard appart from A/M remote alarm imobiliser with ultrasonics (NOW REPLACED WITH NEW UPGRADED CAT 1 SYSTEM), detachable towbar (proper one from Honda , which will be coming off!) My Plan is to make her a VTiS replica, but in met red, instead of pirates black. So here she is This was on the way home at some motorway services (I spy Dawns aerodeck in the background! ) First mod was to ditch the orange side indicators for nice clear ones Next, it was onto the interior. She's spotless inside, but still gona give her a good clean, so heres how she looks now....I'll post up another once she's been fully valeted The one part of the interior that I wanted to change asap was the stereo! Was a pioneer good bit of kit in it's day, but i like me Cd's and MP3's so out it came and in its place, my Pioneer mp3 head unit (keeping it kinda oem, as it's still a pioneer ) And thats all the mods so far...........but there will be more to come. She's getting a full VTI-S body kit, VTI-S alloys (early style ones) poss tints, and a few other bits and bobs. Heres some pics of how she looks now after a wash! MODS SO FAR: Smoked side indicators Pioneer MP3 head unit (iPod compatible) (UPDATE: Now Alpine CDE9850Ri CD/MP3 with full iPod control)(Update again, now got a new Pioneer DAB/CD/USB head unit!) Powerflow Stainless steel exhaust (cat back) VTiS lip kit (side skirts still to be fitted) VTiS floor mats VTiS gearknob VTiS Speedline chrono alloys fully refurbed and powder coated in white ) TypeR Gear gator with red stitching Full leather (from ES model) fitted, along with the black door cards Honda horn (peep peep) removed, replaced air horns Lowered on Full MeisterR Zeta S coilover suspension

Philgor's 2005 Honda CR-V

As you've seen else where the aerodeck has moved on to a new home. I was hoping to keep the deck and run it side by side with the crv but I was unable to find anywhere to store it. Anyway the new car. It's a 2005 Honda CR-V sport 2.0 auto 84k FSH and was a locally supplied car when new. It's a completely different drive to the deck. I've nicknamed it "the armchair" cos that is how comfy it is to drive. Pictures. Old and new... It's even got a table The powerplant It's Honda's K20a4 producing 150bhp, it pulls rather well and is well suited to the gearbox. 75mph is 3000rpm The gearbox is a 4spd auto with lock up torque converter. Matched with the Cruse control it makes for a lazy drive..
