1. I noticed this advert recently. It is not my car and I have absolutely no connection with the seller. It apparently needs a new exhaust system as the cat was stolen and they cut through the pipes. It also has an expired MOT. In my opinion that would be worth having and repairing for £350. It's no good to me as it is too old for the London ULEZ. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202109297922634
2. Hi guys, This is my MC2 VTI... more to come when I get around to finishing some internal tweaks....
3. For sale our 1999 honda civic aerodeck 1.6 ES auto LOW MILEAGE I bought this car to be my daily and planned to manual swap it, sadly the plans has now changed and got a diff car. The car comes with factory fitted full vtis kit which is rare (has original invoice to prove this was factory fitted) Has low miles only done 83239miles has MOT till nov2021 FSH comes with the original invoice when new Comes with 2 spare and 1 immobilizer key The car isn't perfect has some chips, scuffs and lacquer peel on the rear lip but NO RUST! the car is solid. The car runs great but cv joint would need to be changed doesn't affect the drive there's just a clicking noise. I have some of the parts for the manual can come with the sale
4. SOLD ** SOLD ** SOLD Decided that I'm not going ahead with the double din conversion on my Aerodeck so the completed centre console is up for sale. And fitted with the Xtrons Android head unit I bought. Note that head unit (although described by Xtrons as Double din) is NOT double din sized! I had to make brackets up to fit it to the console itself. Normal double din sided cage/head unit will fit the console as normal though. Please bear in mind that this panel is custom/home made, so there will be some imperfections. It does look good IMO as it is, although you might decide you want to refinish it to your own standard/level. Please also bear in mind that to fit this console to your civic, you will need to do the following: Move the heater controls and ashtray unit further down the console (easy enough to do) You will need to cut a fair bit of dash internals away to allow your new head unit/console to fit in. (There is a metal section needs removing where the single din head unit would sit.) Price wise, not sure how much this would go for as it's a none off (can't buy a DD conversion dash for our civics off the shelf). Standard console (I had to buy two to make one) cost £30 each plus delivery, so anyone want to make me offers on this (plus delivery)? If you need anymore photos let me know. The head unit will also be going up for sale, so if anyone is interested in both could make some sort of deal (only for civic5 members!). Otherwise it will go on Ebay.
5. Hey lads, Have previously put a build thread on civiclife forum but thought I'd wack one up here too for different opinions etc. Currently I have re-sprayed the grill and re-badged boot... Ive cleaned up bay, powder coated rocker cover and fitted short ram induction kit (soon to be cold air induction kit)... Removed headlight washer jets... New head unit, fusion sub and fli door speakers... Next I plan to fill jet holes in front bumper and re-spray it, along with skirts and rear bumper as they have a few dings etc. Purchased the relevant stuff for this from halfords, had a question though... If i get paint colour using cars ext. paint code... Once lacquered will it have the desired effect or will it look out of place.... The silver has a metallic shine to it but not sure if my sprayed bumpers will come out the same as not done this before? Any tips welcome please!! Here's a couple pics anyway...
6. Hi everyone, I'm quite new here and I've just picked up my first ever 1997 Honda Civic today. I'm looking for some exhaust reccomendations because I'm not sure what fits and what doesn't. I'm not looking for anything crazy just something that makes the car sound a bit more fruity and looks good when sitting under the rear bumper arch. So far though the car runs and drives lovely absolutely chuffed with it. Cheers
7. Hi all, I'm planning to do a mini-me on my 1.5 Vtec-e I've read a lot about it but two things I'm not sure of, will it run (good) with a P30 ECU from a Civic del sol, or do I need the P28 ECU? And a adjustable cam gear is not necessary because I'm not changing cam only but the complete head? I'm able to buy a complete D16Z6 engine, costs are low because of oil consumption, engine has run 130 Miles. Regards, Patrick
8. Hi. Been told by Dave to get some pics of my car up so here it is. And an arty one! It's a 1.6ES, so it has full leather interior, A/C, etc. I'm only the 2nd owner, so everythings as it should be! I put it into Honda to have the proper Honda front fog lights fitted, the Honda sunroof wind deflector and got an MP3 stereo too. Just wanting to change the wheels now. Love my aero to bits
9. Hi, my name is Patrick, found this Forum yesterday, I own a 1.5 Vtec-e, not the fastest one but drives very smooth. it has only 125.000 KM on the clock. Only put it closer to the ground and made it a little nicer under the hood. Second car is a Toyota Starlet (1985)

13. So i have an MB6 civic and have recently bought a set of mb6 braking hardware. Now this brings me to an issue, i would like to keep the 4*100 lug size but the mb6 wheel hubs are too large. Can i just fit the wheelhubs from an MB with the 1.6 Litre engine? As they also had rear disks but have the 4*100 lug size. Or do i just have to get new rims?
14. 5x Honda Civic Jordan wheels with decent tyres all with more than 5mm tread Could do with a refurb 4x100 15x6 et38 4 centre caps £300 open to offers! Can deliver on a pallet if you’re happy to pay for postage
15. Hi there, So I've returned again to pick fruit from my favourite tree of wisdom. So good news, my MB2 build is nearing to the "end" of my MB2 build, of which I'll be making a lovely post about with lots of pictures once it's done. So recently I got the Hardrace front traction brace, Hardrace rear LCA's, 18mm rear anti-roll bar for 400/45/MG ZS. So I want to get new front LCA's as well and I asked the guys at Dynodaze about fitment and they told me that rear LCA's for MB follows EK (not EG) fitment but they didn't mention what would fit the front, only saying that they'd recommend getting ones off an MB6. So I just want to see if anyone has AM front LCA's then what fits MB's? Also bonus question, in case I ever decide to go for a beefier rear anti roll bar, what fitment works with the MB2? Thank you so much guys.
16. Does anyone here have any thoughts on the 2001/2002 Accord? I have seen a few of these for sale in my search for a London emissions compliant MB Civic. There seem to be a few more of these still around as they seem to have been sold for a year or so later than the MB Civics. They can be found with 51 and 02 plates, whereas the very last MB civics sold have Y plates.
17. Spotted this for sale on FB marketplace. Looks tidy, although has been a previous insurance category. Worth a look I think for anyone still looking for a VTi Deck...........getting really rare the VTiS especially in aerodeck form! No price on ad as seller has said its for swaps only (looking for a Suzuki Jimny or Vitara) https://www.facebook.com/groups/1490055374619145/permalink/2619964904961514/?sale_post_id=2619964904961514
