  1. Got it from eBay mate about £80 odd. As it's just a cooler no need for £200 odd spent in shops.I think it's a 22 or 25 vein.everything except the turbo and oil cooler, catch can, is from hondr now I know there are loads of butt hurt people that spend far too much because they listen to every bit of crap told them but everything I've got from eBay so far has been top quality. You just have to shop around.
  2. Hi folks moved this to here now if you're not familiar with the current parts and situation the start is on intros section under Hi everyone. Just got the oil cooler delivered today.took 2 days off eBay must be a miracle. Now waiting for the catch can, obd2a-obd1 adapter, wideband o2 sensor and ecu. Then it's get some funds and get it fitted and mapped. I could fit it and then get it mapped but I've not done anything like this before so because of the major risk of catastrophic disaster I'm getting a specialist to do it OK. So go on rip me for not doing myself lol.
  3. Think I might move this to projects. Because this is intro thread and I think I did that some time ago now.
  4. Got my oil cooler today. Haven't opened it yet but will post pics when I do.
  5. What about a d16w4 125hp or am I just crazy!.
  6. Every time I've rung them for stuff it's been the same bloke. He definitely knows his stuff! not many folks know about the d16w4 it's all a's and y's or z's. Plus what he wasn't sure about he did the homework for me!. Which is perfect because I'm the reigning world champion "lazy twat".
  7. Thanks Dave. The brakes will definitely need upgrading before I can have too much fun though. But that can wait, there damn expensive big brake kits plus finding brakes that fit with the standard wheels is a nightmare. Big wheels may look nice but they can ruin handling, cost sh#t loads for tyres. Smaller wheels quicker acceleration, granted not much difference but still I like em.
  8. Thanks burbleboy. Why burble are you from that tribe of friendly robotic bears from thundercats. If so then HOOOOOOOOO.
  9. Ecu and sensor gets here next week so with stuff arriving until mid December it'll be mid January before its fitted mapped. Can't wait.
  10. to tell you the truth I've forgotten his name now as aem have upped there prices again so only ecu and wide band sensor will be arriving now. I swear aem prices go up and down more than a honeymooners a*s!. I'm stripping it down inside drivers seat only now as it's just purely for track fun. When the downpipe near fell off I got a stainless manifold and new cat but while it was being delivered I thought I'd window shop on autotrader. The next morning I drove away from a dealer with a 172 cup!.and it just wipes the floor with the civic on handling and acceleration. So it's my daily now but the civic just has a better driving position and I'm already in for over £2000 in car and parts plus I don't have to risk not having transport. If it does bang or I lunch it into a wall on a track.
  11. Well finally got the funds together again to get a 40mm bearing diff and a aem obd1 ecu from hondr, plus I'm ordering a obd2a to obd1 harness a 22 vein oil cooler and a 3ltr baffled oil catch can with drain plug from eBay as they are simple none moving parts this shouldn't be a problem. Then I just need to fit everything and have it mapped. Fingers crossed it won't go bang to soon lol.
  12. Thanks wilkesy. Not been on for a while site looks different now.not been able to get turbod yet had a £4000 Bill for granny's funeral. But still I've just got an adjustable camgear and a AEM fuel rail I'm waiting to be delivered. I'm gonna keep buying it all bit by bit and do everything at once.
  13. Bumper is about 10 mins work but wing I'm going to leave as there are no sharp edges. When it rusts, if I haven't blown it up I'll just get a replacement and do the jdm thing with the manga comics lacquered on instead of worrying about finding the right colour or going to the expense of painting it.
  14. I don't have access to the hot and bothered section so here will have to do!. Driving home after having my downpipe fixed happily going home listening to my tunes this old twat about effin 60 odd flys strait down the side of me and tries to squeeze his Citroën c3 s**t box in a 1 foot c**ting gap between me and a BMW. The BMW unscathed my wing lip push in all around and my bumper scratched to crap. now it's not a write off but still I think these old twats should be re tested as soon as they hit 60 every twating year the dangerous c**ts. And best of all the cops gave him a by. Didn't even charge the Twat.
  15. Only low boost I think the turbo is only about 16lb anyway so I think 10lb will be about right to start hopefully it won't blow up haha knowing my luck I'll be hammering it down the track and get hit by the block as is goes.
  16. http://rs1296.pbsrc.com/albums/ag16/shoredave76blacklung/20150216_005656_zpsgdwnoq41.jpg~320x480got this aswell.
  17. Cheers Krzys I've seen all kinds of these blown but I'm really looking forward to seeing how much power it makes after its all fitted. I will start a project thread when I start doing stuff got a bit planned for her.
  18. They call them eco because when you loose grip and pile into a wall your body breaks down and feeds the earth.
  19. Boost will be hilarious on the crap eco-tyres that the old dear who had it before me put on it haha.spins like it's on ice now.
  20. Ive got the turbo too. its a td4 but i still need a aem fuel rail and ecu until i get it all fitted. The down pipe blew the other day so im going to bandage it tomorrow until i get the dc ceramic 4-2-1 - 1 piece manifold ive ordered until i can afford the rest of the stuff.
