Whats the tyre size of the Advans? Loving the meaty fitment!
Thanks, I think they're 205 50 16 but I'd have to double check to make sure

Do in odd jobs in the car. New fuel filter, thermostat and lambda as I hadn't done them previously.
Due another oil change over the weekend too.
Tonight started making support for Intercooler. I want to keep the fog lights on the car so the plan is to cut a section out slam panel either side for the boost pipes. And also remove the centre bar. That way the intercooler can tuck right in close to the radiator. Looking at it shouldn't even need to trim the bumper.
I wanted the keep the fogs in mine but it wasnt possible with the pipe work I had. Be interested to see how this turns out, might have to do the same with mine.
What intercooler have you got?

Had a mate detail the aerodeck the day before mimms and its come up really well. Makes me want to keep it the original colour.
Also got some dc2 black recaros. I can just about fit in the bloody things

Now that is a big update.
What a s**tter with the way the cars been treated by those garages!
Would be a different story if it was one of there own.
The main thing is it's running, useable and you can enjoy it.

Little dissapointed I need to drop the fuel tank to change the pump. Gonna be a laugh on me own
It's not that bad. Just get the car as high as possible and use a Jack and some wood to support the tank, and if I was you I'd order some new tank bolts from rimmerbros mine snapped when I came to remove my tank.

I would of thought it'd be a straight swap as you'd still be using all your old ecu key ect.. just make sure the engine codes match up and you should be fine

No car parts for me sadly. But I'm fussy with them so I'd rather get them myself

I've got a Chinese gt30 copy on my civic and that'll do the job for 350 easy. .ones been mapped to 333bhp at 10psi because the engine is stock and I wanted it to be safe.
Lots of people use those cheep gt30 copys. The one my donor car came with had been on for 20 or 30k and that had been given death. That turbo had zero play in when I removed it. I endedup putting a new gt30 copy on and kept the old one for a spare.

Not much has changed with the old bus other than the splitter has been removed and I've got some accord type r seats for the front. I'm to fat for the dc2 seats really.
My mot ran out last week and I need to use the car at the minute. Passed with flying colours. I've done less than 3000miles in it since the last mot!
