How much is bed insurance these days?

    only just noticed this! haha

think I was talking about the vrs. but the sun has kinda worn off now. but it be staying because it's alot better on fuel and better to use as a daily.

but the civic will be getting insured too because I miss driving it!!

I've been toying with the idea of turboing it but I really can't afford to do that. so I've decided to do some other mods in the form of intake, exhaust and a remap.

I'm not planning on getting rid of the car so it could get boosted in the future who knows.

  2. think the civic will be coming off the road for abit because I've bought a mk1 fabia vrs. ive had one before but it was abit of a dog, this one is really tidy and looks like its been looked after. I do want to swap all the suspension bushes over so that will be the first job whilst the deck is off the road.

  3. done a few little bits over the last few weeks. recently fitted a short shifter to go with the polly bushes linkage. got some wind deflectors and a statues error sunstrip.

it was well over due a wash so it had a quick going over before along with a quick clean under the bonnet.

I had to get bolts too!

    M8 or m10 I can't remember!

think it's m8. I've just been on the phone to honda and they've got them and should have them in tomrrow. now I need to strip it down and tidy it up. looking forward to seeing what difference it makes.  what drop links did you end up using?

  5. I've had a quick look on the forum and can't find the answer. I've kept all the suspension parts from the silver deck I broke so i could change the bushes then swap them over to mine. my question is what bushes do i need and what would you recommend?

I've been looking at the energy suspension complete bush kit for the dc2 but I've also seen hardrace bushes.

one more question I've got my mgzs 180 rear anti roll bar but I need the bolts that go into the chassis I've got loads of bolts knocking about but none fit. does anyone know the size I need?

  6. the retro rides gathering is on next weekend on the 20th. is anyone from here going? I've never been before but I keep hearing lots of good things about it. today is the last day to buy the tickets online at a discounted price. but you can pay on the day too. it's in Worcester, so if anyone's about it'd be cool to meet up have a chat and what not.

  7. bought some new wipers for the front and rear. best wipers I've had and thyme look great. if yours are due replacment get these. think all together they was £22 delivered from eBay. found it cheaper to buy them all separate.

having issues uploading the picture :lol:

  8. mot passed with flying colours! Got a few jobs over the weekend polly bushed my gearlinkage. that made a huge difference. I just to have trouble selecting 1st gear but since doing this I've had no problems. feels so much smoother.

I've also fitted a brake stopper, these stop and flex in the bulk head and improve the feel in the brake pedal. this again has made a huge difference and I'm still yet to fit the braided brake hoses. I did swap the exhaust for the power flow one that came on the silver aerodeck. it's the same bore but it's a much better fit and the back box should polish up nice.

lastly I changed the air,  fuel and pollen filter. don't think the pollen filter had ever been changed. it was black and the amount of leaves and crap I removed from inside filled the passenger foot well!
