vti_rossco
right so my exhaust has rusted at a certian point, where the aftermarket back box was joined to the standard center section, there was some sort of clamp on it but it wasnt in the best of conditions so i couldnt use it again.the aftermarket exhaust pipe is slightly bigger than the standard pipe, so i was wondering if anyone could help me by telling me how to join the two back together again ?until i can aford a new exhaust system
Dave
Will the standard pipe not slide into the a/m exhaust? Or have you had to remove the rusted bit, leaving you with a gap?
vti_rossco
iv removed the rusted bit, its only left a small gap between the aftermarket one and the standard one what were you thinkin ?
civicturbo79
Get a piece of old exhaust from somewere ( an exhaust centre skip) you will need something to cut it with . That goes over the mid section and inside your back box and clamp it at eather end or weld it, job done .Rich.
